Getting to UBS Arena

UBS Arena ties every parking lot to a specific Cross Island Parkway exit, and access is exit-exclusive — Emerald is reachable only from 26D, the Belmont Park Garage only from 26A, and three more lots only from 26B. Get the wrong exit and you cannot reach your lot. It also has its own LIRR station, Elmont-UBS Arena, connected to the garage.

Take the LIRR from Penn Station to Elmont-UBS Arena station. Download the MTA TrainTime app to see schedules and buy tickets. Easiest way to get there by far.
Rideshare is Exit 26D only, on the north side.
Emerald is 26D only, the Belmont Park Garage 26A only, and Silver, Diamond and Ruby all 26B.
Elmont-UBS Arena is the arena's own LIRR station and connects into the Belmont Park Garage.
Oversized vehicles pre-purchase and enter at Gate 5 Road off Hempstead Turnpike.
Every lot has exactly one usable Cross Island Parkway exit — check yours before you set off, because you cannot switch on arrival.

- Driving
- All lots are reached from the Cross Island Parkway, each from one exit only. Emerald Parking is car access via Exit 26D. The Belmont Park Garage is via Exit 26A. Silver Parking is via Exit 26B, signed Hempstead Turnpike East, as are Diamond and Ruby Parking. Rideshare drop-off and pick-up is via Exit 26D only, on the north side of the arena. Oversized vehicles must pre-purchase and enter at Gate 5 Road off Hempstead Turnpike.
- Public Transit
- The arena has its own LIRR station, Elmont-UBS Arena, which connects to the Belmont Park Garage. Elmont residents can find commuter lot and permit information at elmontubslirrparking.com.
- Rideshare
- Uber/Lyft drop-off is in a designated area off Hempstead Turnpike. From Manhattan, expect 30-45 minutes depending on traffic. Post-game pickup is slow. Walk away from the main exit for faster service.

MTA’s LIRR fare chart, effective 4 January 2026: Elmont-UBS Arena is Zone 4, and from Zone 1 (Penn Station, Grand Central, Atlantic Terminal) the one-way fares are $13.50 peak and $10.00 off-peak. Games start around 7pm on weeknights, so leaving Penn between 4 and 8pm is peak -- the stored $8 was neither figure. CityTicket cannot help here: MTA states it is "not valid for travel to/from Belmont Park, Elmont-UBS Arena or Far Rockaway". The second entry is removed as a service nobody publishes: neither the Islanders’ own Getting Here page nor UBS Arena’s lists an "Islanders Express Bus". Both list the LIRR, MTA Q82 and Q2, NICE N6, and "Free shuttles ... between UBS Arena, Emerald Parking, and Elmont-UBS Arena Station" -- the shuttle that exists is free and already implied by the rail entry
