What to Expect
UBS Arena at Belmont Park is the Islanders' purpose-built home, opened in 2021. The arena is designed specifically for hockey, intimate, loud, and packed with Long Island character. It sits adjacent to Belmont Park racetrack in Elmont, with a dedicated LIRR station making transit from Manhattan and Long Island straightforward. The surrounding area is still developing, so pregame activity is centered inside the arena and its plaza. The Islanders' fan base is passionate, loyal, and brings serious energy. Games run about 2.5 hours in regulation.

Tips & Fan Reports
Take the LIRR from Penn Station to Elmont-UBS Arena station. Download the MTA TrainTime app to see schedules and buy tickets. Easiest way to get there by far.
Try to sit in the corners where the Isles shoot twice - sections 208-212 and 216-219. Beautiful arena all around though, you really can not go wrong with any seats at UBS.
The Cross Island Parkway right in front of the arena is horrible on game nights. If you drive, plan to be early or stuck in traffic. The Ooh La La steak sandwiches and steak fries are the best value food at UBS.
The JetBlue Mosaic Lounge holds what the arena calls the closest seating to the ice; its suites come with a private mixologist.
The LIRR stops at Belmont Park on the arena campus, which sidesteps the exit question entirely.
Rideshare is Exit 26D only, on the north side.
You must leave by the route you arrived on, so the exit you pick shapes the journey home too.
The Bridge Level is a genuine middle tier rather than the back of the lower bowl, and for hockey it is where the game becomes legible.
Emerald is 26D only, the Belmont Park Garage 26A only, and Silver, Diamond and Ruby all 26B.
Emerald runs a free shuttle if the walk is too far.

These figures are estimates. Most venues no longer publish the numbers behind them — concession and ticket pricing moved to dynamic marketplaces — so we hold them as estimates rather than dating them as verified.
- Ticket prices — Secondary market averages (SeatGeek/StubHub)
- Parking prices — Never checked against a published rate: the venue's parking page, read 2026-09-05, publishes none — lots vary by event on Ticketmaster and the only figure is a concert surcharge. The 2026-07-27 figures were compiled from third-party listings (was: "UBS Arena 2026: $20-$60+ across official lots and surrounding garages, prepaid online; concert rates rise $5-$10 at the gate").
