Take the LIRR from Penn Station to Elmont-UBS Arena station. Download the MTA TrainTime app to see schedules and buy tickets. Easiest way to get there by far.
For concerts, buying onsite costs $5 to $10 more than advance Ticketmaster parking.
LIRR serves Elmont-UBS Arena station, which connects to Belmont Park Garage.
Every lot has exactly one usable Cross Island Parkway exit. Check yours before you set off, because you cannot switch on arrival.
Rideshare is Exit 26D only, on the north side.
Emerald is 26D only, the Belmont Park Garage 26A only, and Silver, Diamond and Ruby all 26B.
Elmont-UBS Arena is the arena's own LIRR station and connects into the Belmont Park Garage.
Oversized vehicles pre-purchase and enter at Gate 5 Road off Hempstead Turnpike.

Parking Rules
What the pass covers, what gets turned away, and the lots that run on their own rules.
Your Pass
- Parking opens two hours before doors and closes 90 minutes after the event, unless otherwise stated.
- Each lot has its own Cross Island Parkway exit: Emerald from Exit 26D, Belmont Park Garage from Exit 26A, and Silver, Diamond and Ruby from Exit 26B onto Hempstead Turnpike East. All are car access only.
- For concerts, prices rise $5 to $10 if bought at the arena lots rather than in advance through Ticketmaster.
- Tailgating is prohibited at UBS Arena under the lease with Empire State Development.
Not Allowed In
- Limousines, buses, taxis, black car services and rideshare drop-offs and pickups may not occupy lined parking spaces.
- Oversized vehicles need advance purchase and cannot simply arrive.
Accessible Parking
Accessible spaces are counted per lot and backed by on-demand van service, and a valid permit or plate is required to use them.
- Emerald has 36 accessible spaces with access aisles, plus shuttle vans and buses.
- Silver has 28 accessible spaces with access aisles and dedicated accessible vans for on-demand service.
- Diamond has 28 accessible spaces with access aisles and ADA-accessible vans.
- Belmont Park Garage has accessible spaces with access aisles; the count is not published.
- All guests parking in accessible spots must have a valid disabled parking permit and/or plate on the vehicle.

RV Parking
Oversized vehicles must be arranged three days ahead and follow a specific route in. They drop guests before parking, rather than parking and walking.
- Advance purchase is required, arranged by email at least 72 hours before the event.
- The vehicle enters at Gate 5 Road off Hempstead Turnpike and drops guests in the Silver C lot before proceeding to the designated parking area.
Bus & Limo Parking
Buses and limousines cannot use ordinary spaces at all, and follow the oversized-vehicle process instead.
- Limousines, buses, taxis, black car services and rideshare may not occupy lined parking spaces.
- Buses follow the oversized-vehicle process: 72 hours' notice by email, entry at Gate 5 Road off Hempstead Turnpike, guest drop-off in Silver C.
Getting There
UBS Arena ties every parking lot to a specific Cross Island Parkway exit, and access is exit-exclusive. Emerald is reachable only from 26D, the Belmont Park Garage only from 26A, and three more lots only from 26B. Get the wrong exit and you cannot reach your lot. It also has its own LIRR station, Elmont-UBS Arena, connected to the garage.
- Driving
- All lots are reached from the Cross Island Parkway, each from one exit only. Emerald Parking is car access via Exit 26D. The Belmont Park Garage is via Exit 26A. Silver Parking is via Exit 26B, signed Hempstead Turnpike East, as are Diamond and Ruby Parking. Rideshare drop-off and pick-up is via Exit 26D only, on the north side of the arena. Oversized vehicles must pre-purchase and enter at Gate 5 Road off Hempstead Turnpike.
- Public Transit
- The arena has its own LIRR station, Elmont-UBS Arena, which connects to the Belmont Park Garage. Elmont residents can find commuter lot and permit information at elmontubslirrparking.com.
- Rideshare
- Rideshare drop-off and pickup is on the north side of UBS Arena, reached only from Cross Island Parkway Exit 26D and Green Road. Riders waiting for a pickup can wait in the Rideshare Waiting Area on the main concourse by Section 118.

- Transit
MTA’s LIRR fare chart, effective 4 January 2026: Elmont-UBS Arena is Zone 4, and from Zone 1 (Penn Station, Grand Central, Atlantic Terminal) the one-way fares are $13.50 peak and $10.00 off-peak. Games start around 7pm on weeknights, so leaving Penn between 4 and 8pm is peak -- the stored $8 was neither figure. CityTicket cannot help here: MTA states it is "not valid for travel to/from Belmont Park, Elmont-UBS Arena or Far Rockaway". The second entry is removed as a service nobody publishes: neither the Islanders’ own Getting Here page nor UBS Arena’s lists an "Islanders Express Bus". Both list the LIRR, MTA Q82 and Q2, NICE N6, and "Free shuttles ... between UBS Arena, Emerald Parking, and Elmont-UBS Arena Station" -- the shuttle that exists is free and already implied by the rail entry

- Parking prices: Never checked against a published rate: the venue's parking page, read 2026-09-05, publishes none. Lots vary by event on Ticketmaster and the only figure is a concert surcharge. The 2026-07-27 figures were compiled from third-party listings (was: "UBS Arena 2026: $20-$60+ across official lots and surrounding garages, prepaid online; concert rates rise $5-$10 at the gate").
