Information We Collect
When you use Visit Your Team, we may collect:
- Display name: if you submit a tip, you may optionally provide a display name. No account or login is required.
- Usage data - pages visited, time on site, referral source, and approximate location and device type, collected through Google Analytics. We do not sell your data.
- User-submitted content - tips you submit are stored in our database and displayed publicly after moderation.

- To prevent spam via rate limiting and honeypot fields

- To prevent spam and abuse
Cookies
We set one essential cookie ourselves, for admin session management. No login is required for anything else on the site.
Our analytics uses cookies set through Google. You can turn it off without leaving the site working - see Analytics.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to count visits and to see which guides people read. It records the pages you view, how you arrived, and your approximate location and device, and it sets first-party cookies, named _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID, so it can tell a returning browser from a new one. We use the reports to decide what to research and write next.

Some pages carry affiliate links - currently to Amazon, and to ticket and hotel partners as those programs come online. Clicking one takes you to a third-party site governed by its own privacy policy.
Your Rights
You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. Tips you've submitted can be removed upon request.
