UBS Arena was built in 2021 with a modern food program. It's a significant upgrade from the Islanders' old home at Nassau Coliseum. Expect Long Island pizza, deli sandwiches, craft beer, and solid standard arena fare. The concessions reflect the NYC metro market with diverse options. Pricing is at the premium end. This is the NYC market. The surrounding Elmont area has limited dining, so the arena food is the primary game-day option. The arena runs twelve markets, three of them large multi-concept builds, and names what is where: Benihana at 103, Big Mozz at 111 and 329, Big Chicken at 111 and 206, Empire Cheesesteaks at 105 and 207, Shah's Halal at 107, sushi and a kosher stand from Beyond Nightlife at 102 and 224, A Cut Above's carved sandwiches at 227, Harrison's chicken cutlet and prosciutto parmesan hero at 108, and Philly Pretzel Factory across twenty sections.
Tips & Fan Reports
The Cross Island Parkway right in front of the arena is horrible on game nights. If you drive, plan to be early or stuck in traffic. The Ooh La La steak sandwiches and steak fries are the best value food at UBS.
Long Island pizza slices at the arena are solid, thin crust, foldable, as it should be.
Eat before arriving if you want to avoid arena pricing. The nearby diner scene is classic Long Island.
The concourse bars are the best pregame option inside. Arrive early and grab a craft beer.
