Getting to Lenovo Center
Carolina Hurricanes · Raleigh, NC
Lenovo Center is a suburban arena off I-40 west of downtown Raleigh, and its transportation page reads accordingly: it covers driving, rideshare and taxis, and says nothing at all about buses. Gate C is where every non-driving arrival converges.
Tips & Fan Reports
Avoid going directly from I-40 East onto Blue Ridge Road. Traffic builds up bad after the split and can add 30 minutes. Give yourself at least an hour once you get to the PNC area.
It is a 10 to 15 minute drive from RDU via I-40.
GoRaleigh is not mentioned anywhere on the arena's transportation page, so plan a bus trip from the operator's map.
Rideshare drop-off and pick-up is Gate C, near TowneBank Center, and taxis wait in the same area.
Ways In
- Driving
- The arena is at 1400 Edwards Mill Road, roughly a 10 to 15 minute drive from Raleigh-Durham International Airport via I-40.
- Public Transit
- The arena's transportation page names no bus route and publishes no stop — public transit is not covered on it. Plan that leg from GoRaleigh's own map.
- Rideshare
- Uber/Lyft drop-off is on the main arena approach road. Pickup after games is in a designated area off Edwards Mill Road. Expect 10-15 minute waits after games. Walk away from the main exits for faster pickup.

How We Checked This Page
Every section below names the source it was read from and the day it was read. Where we could not reach a published figure, the page says so rather than presenting an estimate as a checked fact.

- Transit
The Caniac Coach -- the team shuttle this entry described -- "has ceased running as of the 2022-23 season", and Lenovo Center’s own transportation page now lists only rideshare, taxi and airport access, with no shuttle of any kind. The entry is removed. GoRaleigh publishes "One-Way Fare: $1.25" with a $2.50 Local Day Pass
