Overview
Capital One Arena is in downtown Washington, DC at Gallery Place/Chinatown, one of the most transit-accessible locations in the city. The Gallery Place-Chinatown Metro station (Red/Yellow/Green lines) connects directly to the arena, and Metro Center station (Blue/Orange/Silver) is two blocks away. Between the two stations, every Metro line in the system reaches the arena. Driving in downtown DC is a poor option, Metro is fast, cheap, and goes directly to the door.
