
Getting to Prudential Center

Prudential Center is two blocks from Newark Penn Station, which is served by six NJ TRANSIT rail lines, more than two dozen bus routes, the Newark Light Rail and PATH — and PATH runs around the clock. From Manhattan it is about 25 minutes to the World Trade Center in the evening, which makes this one of the easiest arenas in the country to reach from another city.

Follow the red jerseys or signs for the Gateway. Hang out on Edison by the bars where there will be lots of people. Pro tip - bring a few beers with you if that is your thing and save your cash for inside.
From 33rd Street allow 40 minutes and a change at Journal Square; the World Trade Center is a direct 25.
PATH runs 24 hours, so a late finish is never a problem getting back to Manhattan or Hoboken.

Over 3,500 parking spaces sit within two blocks if you do drive.
Coming from Broad Street Station, take the Newark Light Rail one stop to Newark Penn.

- The arena is at 25 Lafayette St, ringed by Routes 280, 78, 1 and 9, 21, 22, 80, NJ 3, the NJ Turnpike and the Garden State Parkway. From the Turnpike south, take Exit 15W to I-280 west, Exit 15A toward Route 21 south, right on Rector Street, left on Broad Street southbound then left on Lafayette Street. From the Turnpike north, Exit 14 toward I-78, continue on US 1-9 about three miles, right onto Route 21 McCarter Highway, right on Broad Street northbound then right on Lafayette. From the Garden State Parkway, Exit 145 to Route 280 east, Exit 15 for Route 21, right on Route 21 south then Rector, Broad and Lafayette. From Newark Airport, US 1 N/US 9 N, left toward Route 21 Newark Downtown, right on Broad Street then right on Lafayette. There are over 3,500 parking spaces within two blocks.

PATH runs around the clock between Newark and Manhattan, Hoboken, Jersey City and Harrison, with the arena a short walk from PATH's Newark terminal — about 25 minutes from the World Trade Center or Hoboken in the evening, and 40 minutes from 33rd Street changing at Journal Square. Tickets come from NJ TRANSIT machines at rail and light rail stations or the MyTix app.

- Uber/Lyft drop-off is on Edison Place near the main entrance. From Manhattan, expect 25-30 minutes depending on tunnel traffic. Post-game pickup is busy. Walk a block for faster service.

NJ Transit’s own "ALL STATION FARES TO / FROM PENN STATION NEW YORK" chart: Penn Station Newark is Zone 2 at $6.30 one way, $12.60 round trip (Secaucus, Zone 1, is $5.05). The stored $5 was below the cheapest zone on the chart. PATH is $3.25 and Newark Light Rail is "Base Fare: $1.90" from NJ Transit’s fares page, both confirmed earlier in this pass.
