What to Expect
Lenovo Center sits on the NC State Fairgrounds, surrounded by massive parking lots that host one of the better tailgating scenes in the NHL. Raleigh's hockey culture has exploded since the 2006 Cup, the Caniacs are passionate and the 'Bunch of Jerks' identity is real. The arena has a Southern hospitality vibe that's different from traditional hockey markets. Arrive 90 minutes early for tailgating or hit the Backyard at PNC for pregame food trucks and live music. Games run about 2.5 hours in regulation.

Tips & Fan Reports
Don't worry about parking before the game - that is the easy part. Get there at least 45 minutes early, have $30 ready (plastic only), and park at PNC. Trinity Rd lots are $20 if you don't mind a short walk.
Avoid going directly from I-40 East onto Blue Ridge Road. Traffic builds up bad after the split and can add 30 minutes. Give yourself at least an hour once you get to the PNC area.
Not really a bad seat for hockey at PNC unless you are touching the roof. Corner seats around row S-T where you are above the glass feel like you are right on top of the ice.
The arena publishes the names of its five premium products but not their capacities, locations or inclusions — confirm what a ticket opens rather than inferring it from price.
You do not pick your space — staff direct you — so a group in several cars should arrive together.
The building was PNC Arena before the renaming, so older listings and directions use that name — the PNC Victory Club keeps it.
For hockey the upper ring shows you more of the game than the glass does, at a fraction of the price.
It is a 10 to 15 minute drive from RDU via I-40.
Buy the mobile parking pass before the day; it costs less than on arrival.
GoRaleigh is not mentioned anywhere on the arena's transportation page, so plan a bus trip from the operator's map.

How We Checked This Page
Every section below names the source it was read from and the day it was read. Where we could not reach a published figure, the page says so rather than presenting an estimate as a checked fact.
- Venue facts

- Parking prices
A correction. The News & Observer, citing Lenovo Center's own website: 'Regular season parking starts at $27 for cars and $100 for buses and RVs.' The stored $25 predates the current rate. The $95 on-site figure in the same evidence file is Stanley Cup Final pricing, not a regular-season rate. Fairgrounds figure not re-checked.
- Drink prices
Lenovo Center 2026: sodas $6.50; hot chicken slider and tender meals with fries $18
- Venue policies
Current Lenovo Center policies, bag, ADA, FAQ, and concessions pages plus Carolina Hurricanes game-day and parking guides reviewed for Hurricanes policies.

These figures are estimates. Most venues no longer publish the numbers behind them — concession and ticket pricing moved to dynamic marketplaces — so we hold them as estimates rather than dating them as verified.
