A SpotHero reservation can be printed or redeemed by phone.

Gallery Place/Chinatown serves the arena on Metro's Red, Green and Yellow Lines.

Drivers want the corner of F and 7th NW, or F and 6th depending on approach.

Gallery Place/Chinatown is directly beneath the arena and carries three lines.

Metro closes at 11pm on Sundays, earlier than any other night, and worth checking against a late finish.

The Yellow Line runs direct from Reagan National Airport to the arena's station.

Judiciary Square and Metro Center are the fallbacks if Gallery Place is congested.

Getting There

Capital One Arena sits on top of Gallery Place/Chinatown, where the Red, Green and Yellow lines meet, with two more stations within walking distance either side of it. The arena publishes Metro's closing times by day, which matters here: on a Sunday the system shuts at 11pm, earlier than any other night of the week.

Driving
The arena is at 601 F Street NW. From the major highways, follow signs toward downtown Washington and then to the arena itself; the destination is the corner of F Street and 7th Street NW, or F and 6th Street NW depending on your approach. There is an arena garage, and SpotHero covers nearby lots and garages.
Public Transit
Gallery Place/Chinatown is the arena's Metro stop, on the Red, Green and Yellow lines, with Judiciary Square and Metro Center also within walking distance. Metro runs 5am to 11:30pm Monday to Thursday, 5am to 1am Friday, 7am to 1am Saturday and 8am to 11pm Sunday. From Ronald Reagan National Airport, the Yellow Line runs direct from the airport station to Gallery Place/Chinatown.

How We Checked This Page

Every section below names the source it was read from and the day it was read. Where we could not reach a published figure, the page says so rather than presenting an estimate as a checked fact.

Parking guidance

Official Capital One Arena directions and parking page plus its media access page, read 2026-08-30: the Arena Garage location, the parking-team inquiry process, and guaranteed advance reservations for nearby garages through SpotHero. The venue does not publish accessible parking, oversized-vehicle, RV, bus, closure, or parking-map details.

WMATA Metro Rail fares are distance-based: .25 to .75 weekday 5am-9:30pm, .25 to .50 weekday evening. .25 is the published system minimum, not a rate for this trip, so it is stored as an estimate

These figures are estimates. Most venues no longer publish the numbers behind them (concession and ticket pricing moved to dynamic marketplaces), so we hold them as estimates rather than dating them as verified.

  • Parking prices: Never checked against a published rate: the venue's parking page, read 2026-09-05, publishes none. The page sells parking per event through SpotHero and prices nothing. The 2026-07-27 figures were compiled from third-party listings (was: "Capital One Arena 2026: $20-$40 by proximity and event, prepaid online recommended").
