What to Expect
Target Field sits on the edge of downtown Minneapolis in the North Loop neighborhood, an open-air ballpark that brought outdoor baseball back to Minnesota after nearly three decades in the Metrodome. The skyline of downtown Minneapolis towers beyond right field, and the limestone facade blends with the city's architecture. The pregame scene centers on the North Loop's breweries and restaurants, with Fulton Brewing and the Freehouse drawing crowds before games. The Target Field Station light rail platform is adjacent to the ballpark, transit is seamless. Games run about 3 hours.

Game Day
Booking through SpotHero runs below the drive-up rate, per the club's own recommendation.
There are roughly 25,000 spaces downtown beyond the 7,000 adjacent, so a full ramp is not the end of it.
Check which of the three gate times applies: a Tuesday night gives you an hour, a Saturday gives you two.
Parking & Directions
Fulton, Modist, and InBound breweries are all nearby and usually full of Twins fans before and after games. Eat and have a beer or two outside the field to save money. Dining and beer options are plentiful.
Both METRO Blue and Green Lines serve Target Field Station directly.
Northstar commuter rail has been replaced by expanded bus service between downtown Minneapolis and Big Lake.
Food & Drinks
Target Field allows outside food so get a pizza and bring it in. Park at the Mall of America and take the light rail to Target Field. Every train will be full of Twins fans and it is very safe.
Get the giant cheese curds and the My First Twins Game personalized poster in the right field plaza at the service booth. Great keepsake especially for kids attending their first game.
Walleye on a stick is retired: the walleye lives on as the Northwood Walleye Slider at Hrbek's (Section 114), still a Minnesota thing.
Seating
The UnitedHealthcare Champions Club was renovated over the 2025 off season, so older reviews of it are out of date.
Target Field is open-air in Minnesota. For an early or late season game, the indoor club spaces are worth more than the sightline difference.
The Delta SKY360 Suite is season-plan only and holds 120: its daily-changing tapas menu and cabana seating are not something a single-game ticket can reach.

- Bag policy
Target Field permits single-compartment bags up to 16 x 16 x 8 inches.
Purses, clutches, totes, clear and drawstring bags, fanny packs, diaper bags, medical bags, and single-compartment soft coolers qualify; backpacks, multi-compartment laptop bags, duffels, and oversize bags do not.
- Gate opening
Target Field gates open one hour before Monday through Thursday evening games, 90 minutes before weekday afternoon games, and two hours before Friday through Sunday games.
- Venue payments
Target Field is cashless, and concessions, ticketing, and merchandise accept major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
Five no-fee reverse ATMs load cash onto prepaid debit cards at Gate 29, near Gate 3, near Section 231, and at the tops of the right- and left-field escalators.

Guests may not leave Target Field and re-enter after admission.

Drinks are covered end to end: Draft $13.29 and up, Draft - Summit $15.19, Truly Hard Seltzer $16.99, Fountain Pepsi Products $7.99-$13.49, Bottled Water $5.49-$10.49; where the venue publishes a range, the basket takes its floor. Food is covered only in part: Original Twins Dog $7.19, Kramarczuk's Sausages $13.29 and Chicken Tenders w/ Fries $15.19 are published, while the Northwood Walleye Slider, the Red Cow Double Barrel Burger (section 233, new for 2026) and the Tater Tot Nachos appear in the catalog with no price, so those three figures stay unverified estimates and the food section is deliberately left unstamped.
