What to Expect
Comerica Park sits at Woodward and Adams in downtown Detroit, part of the city's sports district alongside Ford Field (Lions). Opened in 2000, tiger sculptures guard the entrances, a Ferris wheel and carousel spin in the concourse, and the Detroit skyline provides the backdrop. Greektown is a 10-minute walk for pregame dining. Games run about 3 hours.

Comerica Park has better hotdog options than most parks. The polish sausage with kraut is great. Team store has tons of options for gear. You can park across the street for $1/hour and take the QLine for free.
Get there a little early and take a stroll inside the park. Maybe you will even get a ball thrown to you. Comerica Park has a gorgeous backdrop and is great for pictures. Try a coney before the game.
Z Lot parking is solid. Grab a slice from Mootz next door then hit Huddle for ice cream. The exit from Z Lot is probably the fastest leaving-an-event experience I have had in Detroit.
Champions Club seats are sold as season tickets, so single games come through resale.
FAST Woodward and FAST Gratiot run until about 1am, so a late finish does not strand you.
The QLINE runs along Woodward Avenue, which is the street Comerica Park is on — 12 stops between downtown and the North End.
The Tiger Den has its own entrance on Montcalm Street opposite the Tiger Garage, so you need not use the main concourse at all.
Taxi fares here are state-regulated at $1.40 entry plus $1.40 per mile, and four fans can share one cab.
For an ordinary game the pregame is downtown Detroit rather than anything at the car.
From just past first base to the right-field foul line there is no suite level overhead, so those 4,000 seats sit closer to the field than the same rows elsewhere in the ballpark.
