What to Expect
Progressive Field sits in Cleveland's Gateway District, adjacent to Rocket Arena (Cavaliers). The ballpark opened in 1994 as part of Cleveland's downtown revitalization and quickly became one of the most beloved parks in baseball, the sold-out 455-game streak from 1995-2001 is legendary. East 4th Street, a pedestrian dining and entertainment corridor, is a 5-minute walk and serves as the pregame hub. The park has great sightlines, affordable prices, and a passionate fan base. Games run about 3 hours.

Go to the stairs between section 113 and The Corner Bar. An usher there will let people go down to the old bullpen and watch a half inning from field level. It is an awesome hidden experience.
You can bring any takeout food into Progressive Field, or pick up stuff from the Heinen's grocery store right by the stadium. You can also bring a sealed plastic water bottle. Great view no matter where you sit.
Sitting in left field bleachers gives you an amazing view of the whole field and it is not expensive at all. Good chances of getting a home run ball too. Get out on Lake Erie if you have time.
Three entrances serve the garage, so pick the one matching your approach rather than circling.
The garage opens exactly three hours before game time — arrive earlier and you will be turned away.
Both club products include food and non-alcoholic drinks but not alcohol — the Champions Club and the Discount Drug Mart Club Lounge alike.
The garage uses licence-plate readers and bills automatically on exit; register at app.metropolis.io or by QR code inside.
The garage sits between the ballpark and Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse, which matters on nights both are busy.
Check the date, not just the day: a Friday in June opens the gates two hours out, a Friday in April only 90 minutes.
You can stay in the garage up to seven hours after the event starts, which covers a long rain delay.
