Know Before You Go
- Bag policy
Target Field permits single-compartment bags up to 16 x 16 x 8 inches.
Purses, clutches, totes, clear and drawstring bags, fanny packs, diaper bags, medical bags, and single-compartment soft coolers qualify; backpacks, multi-compartment laptop bags, duffels, and oversize bags do not.
- Bag storage
Prohibited bags may be stored free during Twins home games near Gate 6 and Target Field Station.
All bags are searched before storage.
- Gate opening
Target Field gates open one hour before Monday through Thursday evening games, 90 minutes before weekday afternoon games, and two hours before Friday through Sunday games.
- Mobile tickets
All Twins tickets are delivered digitally through the MLB Ballpark app and scanned contactlessly at the gates.
Screenshots, printed tickets, print-at-home tickets, and paper tickets are not accepted for the 2026 season.
- Re-entry
Guests may not leave Target Field and re-enter after admission.
- Prohibited items
Target Field prohibits weapons, fireworks, ball retrievers, bats, inflatables, laser pointers, lawn chairs, noisemakers, wooden sticks, and rods.
Hard-sided coolers, flasks, Frisbees, boom boxes, brooms, and oversize or noncompliant bags are also prohibited; review the official list before arrival.
- First aid
First Aid stations are near Section 112 on the Main Concourse and Section 216 on the Terrace Concourse.
For immediate help, contact Guest Services or a Delaware North Sportservice employee at any concession stand.
- Nursing and lactation
Private nursing and pumping rooms are inside the Guest Service Centers near Sections 113 and 204.
- Family restrooms
Single-user family restrooms are available across the Main, Grandstand, Premier Suite, and Terrace levels.
Main Concourse locations are near Sections 111, 123, 132, and 134 and above center field; other locations are near Section 238, Suites 14 and 2, and Sections 208, 214, and 220.
- Tickets for children
Children under 36 inches tall receive complimentary regular-season admission when accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket.
The child must sit on the adult's lap and may not occupy another seat; every postseason guest needs a ticket regardless of age.
- Guest services
Guest Service Centers are near Section 113 on the Main Concourse and Section 204 on the Terrace Level.
Additional concierge desks are in the Thrivent Club across from 573 and on the Premier Suite Level near Suite 32.
- Service animals
Service animals for guests with disabilities are permitted in Target Field.
For accommodations, contact Guest Services or visit the centers near Sections 113 and 204.
- Smoking and vaping
Target Field and its surrounding property are tobacco-, cannabis-, and vaporizer-free.
The restriction includes Target Plaza, the rear promenade, and adjacent 5th and 7th Street sidewalks; the venue does not allow re-entry.

What the day looks like at Target Field, hour by hour.
Arrive in the North Loop
Take the light rail to Target Field Station or drive to one of the downtown ramps. The North Loop neighborhood has breweries and restaurants within a 5-minute walk.
Pregame at Fulton Brewing or Freehouse
Fulton Brewing's taproom is across the street from the ballpark. The Freehouse is a 5-minute walk with craft beer, food, and a pregame buzz.
Enter Target Field
Walk through the limestone gates. The plaza behind home plate has the Twins' greatest players honored in bronze. Explore the concourses and grab a walleye on a stick.
Watch batting practice
Head to the Home Run Porch in left field or the lower outfield sections. Target Field's open design makes BP fun from many vantage points.
Find your seat
Settle in and enjoy the Minneapolis skyline beyond right field. Target Field's open-air atmosphere is a dramatic upgrade from the old Metrodome.
Play ball
Nine innings of outdoor baseball in Minneapolis. The natural grass field and open sky are a welcome change after 28 years under the Metrodome's Teflon roof.
Stand up and stretch
The crowd sings 'Take Me Out to the Ball Game.' Grab a final Kramarczuk's sausage or Surly beer before the late innings.
North Loop nightlife
The North Loop bars and restaurants stay open late. Or hop the light rail to Northeast Minneapolis for more brewery options.
Tips & Fan Reports
Take the Metro light rail. Target Field Station is literally at the front door of the ballpark. No need to drive.

The Twins have a beer-and-a-brat deal that's one of the best values in MLB concessions.
Fulton Brewing's taproom across the street is the pregame spot. Cold beer, food trucks, and a view of fans streaming to the gates.
Target Field is one of the few open-air ballparks in a cold climate. Late April and early May games can be frigid - dress warm.
Walleye on a stick is the signature Minnesota ballpark food, battered and fried walleye, a Great Lakes fish you won't find at other MLB parks.

There are roughly 25,000 spaces downtown beyond the 7,000 adjacent, so a full ramp is not the end of it.
Check which of the three gate times applies: a Tuesday night gives you an hour, a Saturday gives you two.
The ABC and Hawthorne ramps are pay-at-entry, so have payment ready as you pull in rather than on the way out.

Target Field's gates run on three different clocks depending on when the game is: one hour before first pitch for Monday to Thursday evening games, an hour and a half for weekday afternoon games, and two hours for anything Friday to Sunday. Parking is plentiful rather than close: around 7,000 spaces sit in the ABC and Hawthorne ramps adjacent to the ballpark, with nearly 25,000 more across downtown Minneapolis. Event parking at Hawthorne and ABC is pay-at-entry, and the club points fans at SpotHero for booking ahead at below drive-up rates.
