The Soul of Chicago

Guaranteed Rate Field sits on the South Side of Chicago along the Dan Ryan Expressway, in the Bridgeport/Armour Square neighborhood. The White Sox have played on the South Side since 1910, and the current park — while not as picturesque as Wrigley Field — offers a more spacious, modern fan experience with South Side pride. The exploding scoreboard in center field is a White Sox tradition, firing off after every Sox home run. The pregame scene is more laid-back than the Wrigley/Wrigleyville atmosphere — come for the baseball, the food, and the genuine South Side experience. Games run about 3 hours.
