Z Lot parking is solid. Grab a slice from Mootz next door then hit Huddle for ice cream. The exit from Z Lot is probably the fastest leaving-an-event experience I have had in Detroit.
The closest accessible options are 61 E. Elizabeth Lot, Tigers Garage and McLaren Garage.
QLINE runs along Woodward through downtown, Midtown, New Center and North End, and is free.
FAST Woodward and FAST Gratiot run until about 1am, so a late finish does not strand you.
Taxi fares here are state-regulated at $1.40 entry plus $1.40 per mile, and four fans can share one cab.
Brush Street is the access point for both Ford Field and Comerica Park parking.
Three published routes come in from the north; the I-375 one ends at a left-lane exit at Madison Ave, so get across early.
The QLINE runs along Woodward Avenue, which is the street Comerica Park is on: 12 stops between downtown and the North End.

Your Pass
- Parking opens three hours before events and closes two hours after, unless otherwise posted. The closing time matters as much as the opening one: the garages do not stay open indefinitely.
- Every location is credit card only.
- There are no in/out privileges and no overnight parking.
- The garages serving the ballpark are the Comerica, McLaren, Tigers, Temple West, Trinity Health and UWM garages, all run by Olympia in The District Detroit.
Not Allowed In
- Oversized vehicles are not permitted in the garages.
Accessible Parking
Three facilities sit closest to the ballpark for accessible parking, and none of them hold spaces back: it is first come, first served, so arrive early or call ahead.
- The 61 E. Elizabeth Lot, the Tigers Garage and the McLaren Garage offer the closest accessible parking to Comerica Park.

Bus & Limo Parking
Charter buses are kept out of the garages and given a street of their own a short walk from the ballpark.
- Charter buses should park on Fisher Service Drive between Woodward Avenue and Brush Street.
Getting There
Comerica Park publishes numbered route options per direction (three separate ways in from the north alone, each written step by step) and it is the only Detroit venue in this data that documents the city's transit at all. The QLINE streetcar runs the length of Woodward Avenue, which is the street the ballpark sits on.
- Driving
- From the north there are three options. Southbound M-10 into downtown, exit at Grand River (M-5), south to the northbound I-75 service drive, then right on Brush Street for the Ford Field and Comerica Park lots. Or southbound I-75 to westbound M-8, the Davison Freeway, then a left-lane exit onto southbound M-10 and the same Grand River route. Or southbound I-75 until it merges into I-375, exiting at Madison Ave in the left lane, or at Lafayette. From the south, take northbound I-75 and cut across on I-275, the US-24 connector or M-39 to reach I-94 into downtown.
- Public Transit
- The QLINE is a 6.6-mile circulating streetcar that stops at 12 locations along Woodward Avenue, from downtown through Midtown, New Center and the North End, running 6am to 11pm Monday to Thursday, to midnight Friday and Saturday, and 8am to 8pm Sundays. SMART and DDOT both run buses to the ballpark; SMART's FAST Gratiot, FAST Woodward and FAST Michigan services run every 15 to 30 minutes, with Gratiot and Woodward operating from 5am until roughly 1am. SMART maps are available from the Downtown Transit Center in the Buhl Building at 535 Griswold.
- Rideshare
- Lyft, the ballpark's rideshare partner, has designated drop-off locations on Adams Avenue East and Winder Street. After the event, the designated Lyft pickup is on Winder Street.
