3 hours before first pitch

Arrive in downtown Detroit

Drive or take the QLine to the ballpark area. Park in official lots or Greektown garages.

2 hours before first pitch

Pregame in Greektown or on Woodward

Greektown has Greek restaurants and bars. Hockeytown Cafe and Grand Trunk Pub on Woodward are closer options.

Gates open (1 hour 40 minutes before first pitch)

Enter Comerica Park

Walk past the tiger sculptures. Let the kids ride the Ferris wheel and carousel.

60 minutes before first pitch

Watch batting practice

Head to lower outfield. The deep center field (420 feet) makes home runs during BP a challenge.

30 minutes before first pitch

Find your seat

Settle in with a Coney dog and a craft beer. The Detroit skyline makes a beautiful backdrop.

First pitch

Play ball

Nine innings of Tigers baseball. The tiger eyes on the center field scoreboard light up for Tigers home runs.

7th inning stretch

Stand up and stretch

Grab a final Detroit-style pizza slice or Coney dog.

Post-game

Greektown or Woodward Avenue

Greektown is 10 minutes for late-night dining. Bars on Woodward stay open.

Get there a little early and take a stroll inside the park. Maybe you will even get a ball thrown to you. Comerica Park has a gorgeous backdrop and is great for pictures. Try a coney before the game.
