Comerica Park highlights Detroit food culture, Coney dogs, Detroit-style pizza, and Michigan craft beer. The Coney dog is the signature item, Corktown's Slows BBQ and Green Dot Stables both run stands, and 313 Tuesdays puts hot dogs, water, soda and chips at $3. Detroit-style pizza (thick, rectangular, caramelized cheese edges) is available from local vendors. Craft beer from Atwater, Founders, and Bell's represents Michigan's strong brewing tradition.
Tips & Fan Reports
Comerica Park has better hotdog options than most parks. The polish sausage with kraut is great. Team store has tons of options for gear. You can park across the street for $1/hour and take the QLine for free.
The elephant ear is the go-to dessert, a Michigan carnival tradition.
The Coney dog is THE Detroit food. Chili, mustard, onions. It's tradition.
Founders All Day IPA is Michigan's most popular craft beer.
Greektown is 10 minutes on foot, better food variety and lower prices.
Detroit-style pizza inside the park is excellent ballpark food.
American vs. Lafayette Coney Island is Detroit's great debate. They're next door. Try both.

These figures are estimates. Most venues no longer publish the numbers behind them — concession and ticket pricing moved to dynamic marketplaces — so we hold them as estimates rather than dating them as verified.
