Getting to Canadian Tire Centre

Canadian Tire Centre is a Kanata arena reached off Highway 417, and its directions are written lane by lane — which exit to take, which way to turn off the interchange, and which boulevard feeds which lot. Frank Finnigan Way in front of Gate 1 is one-way southbound, so the way out is not the way in.

Take public transit if possible. The arena is outside the city so carpooling or taking the shuttle is encouraged. Check the Senators website for fan events and viewing party info on big game nights.
Two Highway 417 exits serve the arena — Terry Fox Road and Palladium Drive — and the published routes both use Palladium.
Frank Finnigan Way, in front of Gate 1, is one-way southbound; leaving means turning right (west) onto Palladium Drive.
Lots 1 to 7 and 9 each have their own lane directions on the downloadable parking map; check yours before you arrive.
Look for the Connexion 400 logo on the bus stops — that is the branding the arena tells you to follow.

- The arena is at 1000 Palladium Drive, with two Highway 417 exits serving it: Terry Fox Road and Palladium Drive. From the east, take the Palladium Drive exit and exit northbound to the right, follow the interchange, turn left onto Cyclone Taylor Boulevard, then right at Frank Finnigan Way for drop-off at Gate 1. From the west, take the Palladium Drive exit southbound to the right, follow the interchange to Huntmar Drive, turn left, then right onto Cyclone Taylor Boulevard and right at Frank Finnigan Way. General parking is entered from Cyclone Taylor Boulevard and Palladium Drive.
- Public Transit
- OC Transpo runs event service and the arena tells you to look for the bus stops marked with the Connexion 400 logo. Service scales with the size and timing of the event. The arena publishes no route numbers of its own, so check octranspo.com for the trip.
- Rideshare
- Uber/Lyft drop-off is at the arena entrance off Palladium Drive. Post-game pickup is in a designated zone. Budget $25-35 CAD from downtown Ottawa.
