Use the Indigo Neo app for parking. Lot 5 (OT800 - Canadian Tire Centre) is the easiest exit after the game. You can pre-order based on the event. No cash accepted at the window.
There is really no good place to park near Canadian Tire Centre. Traffic management is chaotic after the game and people are not patient. Give yourself extra time for everything.
Take public transit if possible. The arena is outside the city so carpooling or taking the shuttle is encouraged. Check the Senators website for fan events and viewing party info on big game nights.
Lot 4 has limited purchase-on-arrival availability.
OC Transpo event buses use stops marked with the Connexion 400 logo.
Two Highway 417 exits serve the arena (Terry Fox Road and Palladium Drive) and the published routes both use Palladium.
Look for the Connexion 400 logo on the bus stops. That is the branding the arena tells you to follow.
Frank Finnigan Way, in front of Gate 1, is one-way southbound; leaving means turning right (west) onto Palladium Drive.
Lots 1 to 7 and 9 each have their own lane directions on the downloadable parking map; check yours before you arrive.

Lot 4 costs $35 for Senators games; advance passes are sold through Ticketmaster and arrival purchases are limited.

Slap Shot Lots (5 & 9)

Slap Shot Lots 5 and 9 cost $21 for NHL games, payable on arrival or up to four hours before the event through Indigo Neo.

- OC Transpo Game Day Express Bus · C$4 · Express shuttle buses from downtown Ottawa and suburban park-and-ride lots to the arena. The best option if you don't have a car.
Parking Rules

Your Pass
- For NHL games the Slap Shot Lots 5 and 9 are $21, Lot 4 is $35, Lot 6 is passholders only, and Lot 1 is $40 for passholders.
- For concerts the Slap Shot Lots 5, 6, 7 and 9 and Lot 4 are $26, and Lots 1 and 3 are $40.
- For family events the Slap Shot Lots 5 and 9 and Lots 4 and 7 are $26, and Lot 1 is $40.
- Slap Shot Lots are paid on arrival, or up to four hours before event time, through the Indigo Neo Parking App. Payment stations are also inside Gate 1.
- Other parking is pre-purchased online through Ticketmaster. Valet takes debit or credit only.
- The venue is at 1000 Palladium Drive, Ottawa.
Accessible Parking
Accessible parking is Lot A, reached the same way as Lot 3, and the permit is checked by an attendant on the way in.
- Accessible parking is Lot A and requires a valid government-issued Accessible Parking Permit.
- The permit is presented to the Lot 3 attendant; access follows the Lot 3 directions.
RV Parking
RVs are priced by size rather than turned away, and bought through the ticketing system like a seat.
- Bus and recreational vehicle parking is $75 for full-sized vehicles and $60 for half-sized vehicles.

Bus & Limo Parking
Buses are priced by size; limousines pay for the drop-off itself and park in a dedicated lot.

- Limousine drop-off and pick-up at the Gate 2 valet costs $60.
- The limo lot at Cyclone Taylor and Huntmar has nine double parking spaces.
Getting There
Canadian Tire Centre is a Kanata arena reached off Highway 417, and its directions are written lane by lane: which exit to take, which way to turn off the interchange, and which boulevard feeds which lot. Frank Finnigan Way in front of Gate 1 is one-way southbound, so the way out is not the way in.
- Driving
- The arena is at 1000 Palladium Drive, with two Highway 417 exits serving it: Terry Fox Road and Palladium Drive. From the east, take the Palladium Drive exit and exit northbound to the right, follow the interchange, turn left onto Cyclone Taylor Boulevard, then right at Frank Finnigan Way for drop-off at Gate 1. From the west, take the Palladium Drive exit southbound to the right, follow the interchange to Huntmar Drive, turn left, then right onto Cyclone Taylor Boulevard and right at Frank Finnigan Way. General parking is entered from Cyclone Taylor Boulevard and Palladium Drive.
- Public Transit
- OC Transpo runs event service and the arena tells you to look for the bus stops marked with the Connexion 400 logo. Service scales with the size and timing of the event. The arena publishes no route numbers of its own, so check octranspo.com for the trip.
