Canadian Tire Centre serves up Ottawa-specific treats alongside standard arena fare. Poutine is the default Canadian arena food, but Ottawa adds its signature shawarma, the city's unofficial dish. BeaverTails (fried dough pastries) are another local specialty available inside. Ottawa's craft beer scene is growing, with local breweries represented on tap. The arena pricing is moderate by Canadian standards.
Tips & Fan Reports
BeaverTails are a uniquely Ottawa treat, fried dough with chocolate, cinnamon, or fruit toppings.
Ottawa's craft beer scene includes Dominion City, Beyond the Pale, and Flora Hall. Look for them on tap.
Ottawa is the shawarma capital of Canada. The arena version is decent, but the real deal is at downtown shops.
The ByWard Market has vastly better food than anything near the arena in Kanata. Eat downtown, then drive.
Poutine at the arena uses real cheese curds. Standard Canadian arena quality.

How We Checked This Page
Every section below names the source it was read from and the day it was read. Where we could not reach a published figure, the page says so rather than presenting an estimate as a checked fact.
- Concession menu
Canadian Tire Centre's Concessions finder, which tags every stand with its section, plus the 33 stand detail pages behind it. canadiantirecentre.com is unreachable from here, so the index was read from the Internet Archive's capture of 2026-02-12 and the detail pages from captures of 2026-01-18 and 2025-12-12. Sections come from the finder, which is authoritative; item names come from each stand's own description rather than the finder's generic food-type tags, since those tags repeat across stands and would have collapsed a dozen venues into "Pizza" and "Beer". No prices are published.

These figures are estimates. Most venues no longer publish the numbers behind them (concession and ticket pricing moved to dynamic marketplaces), so we hold them as estimates rather than dating them as verified.
