Amerant Bank Arena has upgraded its food offerings significantly since the Panthers' Stanley Cup run. South Florida flavors, Cuban sandwiches, fish tacos, tropical frozen drinks, mix with standard arena fare. The arena pricing is mid-range by NHL standards. The surrounding Sawgrass area has chain restaurants for pregame dining, but the real South Florida food scene is in Fort Lauderdale proper. Florida's craft brewery scene is represented with local taps.
Tips & Fan Reports
Sawgrass Mills restaurants are convenient but generic. Las Olas in Fort Lauderdale is the real food scene.
Frozen cocktails are the signature drink choice. Embrace the tropical vibe at a hockey game.
Florida craft beers like Funky Buddha and Cigar City are available on tap. Try the local options.
The Cuban sandwich at the arena is solid, authentic South Florida flavors with pressed bread, ham, pork, and pickles.
The arena AC keeps it cold inside. A warm drink or coffee is surprisingly welcome even at a Florida hockey game.
Cheapest Way to Eat

These figures are estimates. Most venues no longer publish the numbers behind them — concession and ticket pricing moved to dynamic marketplaces — so we hold them as estimates rather than dating them as verified.
