Little Caesars Arena has some of the best arena food in the NHL, thanks to the Via concourse's restaurant-quality options and Detroit's booming food culture. Detroit-style pizza (thick, square, crispy-edged) and coney dogs are the signature regional items. Michigan's craft beer scene is well-represented with rotating local taps. The District Detroit surroundings mean you can eat at real restaurants steps from the arena, not just concession stands.
Tips & Fan Reports
Bring an empty water bottle with you and fill it inside to save money. Get a coney from American or Lafayette for the real Detroit experience. Pro tip - Lafayette is the better one.
Slows Bar BQ in Corktown is a must for BBQ lovers. Go before the game, not after (they close early).
A coney dog is Detroit's other signature food: natural casing hot dog, beef chili, yellow mustard, diced onions.
Michigan craft beer is everywhere, Atwater, Founders, and Bell's are all on tap.
The Via concourse restaurants are a step above typical arena food. Eat there instead of the standard stands.
