Know Before You Go
- Bag policy
Guests may bring one clear or other bag no larger than 14 x 14 x 6 inches, or one clutch, purse, or wallet no larger than 4 x 6 x 1.5 inches.
Every bag larger than a clutch, including medical, diaper, parenting, and clear bags, must use an X-ray line at Entry 1, 8, or 11; small clutches may use any open entry.
- Bag storage
A prohibited bag or other item must be returned to the guest's car or surrendered at the doors.
- Gate opening
All Climate Pledge Arena doors open 90 minutes before puck drop for Kraken games.
- Mobile tickets
All Kraken game tickets are accessed through the Kraken app, which integrates with Ticketmaster for entry and ticket management.
Guests may scan the digital ticket in the app or save it to Apple Wallet or Google Pay before arrival.
- Re-entry
Guests cannot exit and re-enter Climate Pledge Arena.
A documented exception for service-animal relief is coordinated through Guest Services at Alaska Airlines Entry 8.
- Prohibited items
Prohibited items include noncompliant bags, professional or recording cameras, weapons and replicas, sprays, noisemakers, lasers, laptops and tablets, outside food and drink, glass and cans, drones, fireworks, selfie sticks, tripods, and tools or blades.
Event-specific restrictions may apply, and arena security can reject any item it considers inappropriate or dangerous.
- First aid
First Aid rooms are in the northwest corner of the Main Concourse and southwest corner of the Upper Concourse.
Trained EMTs are onsite and can respond anywhere in the arena; ask Guest Services or Security for help.
- Nursing and lactation
Private feeding and pumping spaces include the Virginia Mason Nursing Parents Room on the southwest Main Concourse and a Mamava pod on the northeast Main Concourse near Guest Services.
- Family restrooms
Wheelchair-accessible all-gender and family restrooms are available on every arena level.
Baby-changing tables are available in family restrooms, most men's and women's restrooms, and the Virginia Mason Nursing Parents Room.
- Tickets for children
Children age 2 and younger do not need a ticket but must share a seat with an accompanying ticketed adult.
The arena advises checking the specific event because family shows and other select events may use a different policy.
- Guest services
Guest Services is near Section 24 on the Main Concourse and on the west side of the Alaska Airlines Atrium on the Upper Concourse.
During events, text 206-CPA-HELP or 206-272-4357 with the location and request; call 206-752-7200 outside event hours.
- Service animals
ADA-defined trained service animals are welcome and must remain leashed or harnessed and rest in the guest's seating area rather than an aisle.

- Smoking and vaping
Smoking, vaping, marijuana, and tobacco products in any form are prohibited at Climate Pledge Arena.

Arrive at Seattle Center
Take the Monorail from downtown or walk from Lower Queen Anne. The Seattle Center campus has a festive pre-game atmosphere.
Pregame in Lower Queen Anne
The bars along Mercer and Queen Anne Avenue fill with Kraken fans. Buckley's and Peso's are popular pregame spots.
Doors open
Enter Climate Pledge Arena and explore the stunning concourse. The arena's design is one of the most impressive in the NHL.
Find your seat
The arena fills with teal and navy jerseys. The Kraken's atmosphere has grown quickly. This is a hockey town now.
Game time
Three 20-minute periods in the NHL's greenest arena. The below-grade bowl creates an intimate, loud atmosphere.
Hit the concourse
PNW salmon tacos, smoked brisket, and craft beer from local breweries, the food program is among the NHL's best.
Lower Queen Anne nightlife
The Queen Anne neighborhood stays alive after games. Walk to nearby restaurants and bars or catch the Monorail back downtown.

The Kraken are the newest NHL team (2021). Climate Pledge Arena was renovated from the historic KeyArena with a stunning modern design.
Seattle Monorail from Westlake Center ($3.50) drops you right at the arena. Faster than fighting Queen Anne traffic.
Bring a rain jacket, Seattle drizzle is constant from October to April. The walk from transit is exposed.
The arena is built below grade with the original 1962 roofline preserved above. The architecture is stunning.
The Seattle Monorail from Westlake Center is a fun, quick ride to the arena. Take it at least once.
