Tips & Fan Reports

What fans who park here actually do, and what it cost them.

On Saturdays you can park for free at the Amazon garages and take the monorail to the arena. Stop by Pregame at the Armory to make a sign, pick up freebies, or get a free Kraken poster.

From SEA Airport, take light rail to Westlake and transfer to the 90-second Seattle Center Monorail.

Event tickets include a free King County transit pass valid two hours before through two hours after the event.

From the airport it is the Airport Line to Westlake, then the Monorail. No car needed.

The Monorail is a 90-second ride from downtown and takes ORCA or contactless.

Your match ticket is a free King County transit pass, good from two hours before to two hours after. No separate fare at all.

Allow about 40 minutes from SEA on I-5 without heavy traffic.

Getting There

Climate Pledge Arena does something no other venue in this data does: every ticket is a transit pass. Ticket holders ride King County buses and light rail free from two hours before an event to two hours after, and the Seattle Center Monorail covers the last leg from downtown in 90 seconds.

Driving
The arena is at 334 1st Ave N, reached from I-5. From SEA Airport, 15 miles south, allow about 40 minutes via I-5 without major delays. Three garages serve it: the Arena Garage with underground access and EV charging, the 1st Ave N Garage across Lenny Wilkens Way south of the arena, and the 5th Ave Garage on the east side of the Seattle Center campus. Parking is pre-purchased through the Kraken and CPA mobile app.
Public Transit
Every ticket holder gets a free King County public transit pass, valid from two hours before an event until two hours after, covering the bus network and light rail. The Seattle Center Monorail runs between downtown Seattle and Seattle Center in 90 seconds, a short walk from the arena, and takes ORCA cards and contactless payment. From SEA Airport, take the Airport Line light rail to Westlake Station and transfer to the Monorail.
Rideshare
Before an event, rideshare cannot drop off on 1st Ave N, and the best drop-off points are the MoPOP turnaround at Republican St and Warren Ave N, the McCaw Hall drop-off zone on Mercer St and the Pacific Science Center drop-off zone on Denny Way. In the period right after the event, rideshare cannot pick up on 1st Ave N, and the two pickup locations are the MoPOP museum and the Space Needle on Broad St.
Walking
From the Seattle Center Monorail station it is a short walk across the campus to the arena; the 1st Ave N Garage is just across Lenny Wilkens Way to the south.

How We Checked This Page

Every section below names the source it was read from and the day it was read. Where we could not reach a published figure, the page says so rather than presenting an estimate as a checked fact.

These figures are estimates. Most venues no longer publish the numbers behind them (concession and ticket pricing moved to dynamic marketplaces), so we hold them as estimates rather than dating them as verified.

  • Parking prices: Never checked against a published rate: the venue's parking page, read 2026-09-05, publishes none. The only figure is the non-event hourly rate, from $7 an hour plus tax; event parking is sold by pre-purchase without a figure. The 2026-07-27 figures were compiled from third-party listings (was: "Climate Pledge Arena 2026: lots typically $30-$50 per spot on Kraken game nights, with prepaid passes via the Kraken site, SpotHero or ParkWhiz").
