Know Before You Go
- Bag policy
For Ducks games, bags and purses, including clear bags, may not exceed 4 x 6 x 1.5 inches; backpacks are prohibited at every size.
Medical and diaper bags may be up to 12 x 12 x 12 inches and require additional screening. All permitted bags are subject to manual inspection.
- Bag storage
Honda Center does not provide bag check or storage for prohibited bags or other prohibited items.
- Gate opening
Honda Center main doors typically open 60 to 90 minutes before the event start time.
During arena construction, entry points may be temporarily adjusted.
- Mobile tickets
Ducks tickets are digital and available through the Honda Center + Ducks app; screenshots and printed mobile QR codes are not accepted.
The only accepted hard-copy tickets are those printed directly by the Honda Center Box Office.
- Re-entry
Honda Center does not permit re-entry after a ticket has been scanned and the guest leaves the arena.
For an emergency, speak with a Security or Guest Services Manager.
- Prohibited items
Prohibited items include weapons and weapon-like toys, coolers, briefcases, balloons, beach balls, confetti, glow sticks, laser pointers, drums and other noisemakers, outside food or drink, strollers outside suites, camera accessories such as selfie sticks and tripods, glass or metal reusable straws, and wrapped gifts.
Cowbells are allowed for hockey games only. The list is not exhaustive, and every guest is subject to security screening before entry.
- First aid
First aid is located across from Section 202.
In an emergency, see the nearest Honda Center employee for assistance.
- Nursing and lactation
A private nursing room is available on request: visit Guest Services outside Section 202 and a female employee will escort you to it.
- Family restrooms
Every Honda Center concourse restroom includes an accessible baby-changing table and accessible washing station.
- Tickets for children
Children age 2 and older must have a ticket to enter Honda Center.
- Guest services
Guest Services desks are across from Sections 202, 322 and 437, staffed from the time the doors open until 30 minutes after the event ends.

- Service animals
Service dogs are allowed as permitted by the ADA; other pets are prohibited.
Contact accessibilityservices@hondacenter.com in advance to confirm a seating location or request relocation for service-dog assistance.
- Smoking and vaping
Smoking and vaping are prohibited inside Honda Center and throughout its surrounding grounds.
The ban includes electronic cigarettes, vaporizers, marijuana, CBD, and similar products.
Game Day Timeline
What the day looks like at Honda Center, hour by hour.
Arrive at the Platinum Triangle
Pull into the Honda Center lots early. The parking areas fill from the Katella side first. Tailgating starts immediately.
Tailgate or hit GardenWalk
Set up your tailgate in the parking lot, grills, coolers, and cornhole. Or walk to GardenWalk for SoCal dining options.
Doors open
Enter Honda Center and explore the concourse. Watch warm-ups from behind the glass if you arrive early enough.
Find your seat
The arena fills casually, Anaheim crowds arrive closer to game time than most NHL cities.
Game time
Three 20-minute periods with two intermissions. The crowd gets louder as the game gets tighter. Expect 2-2.5 hours.
Hit the concourse
Grab fish tacos or a California burrito and a craft beer from the local brewery stands.
Exit to the lots
Traffic clears within 20-30 minutes. The parking lots empty efficiently compared to most arenas.
Tips & Fan Reports
The Ducks have some of the cheapest tickets in the NHL. Great value for families or casual fans.
The arena runs cool near the ice. Bring a light layer even though it's SoCal outside.
Honda Center is a suburban arena. Plan to drive unless you're staying at a nearby hotel.
Honda Center is in the Platinum Triangle district near Angel Stadium and Disneyland. Combine with a park visit.
Anaheim Packing District (10 min drive) has the best local food scene. Better than arena-adjacent options.
ARTIC station is adjacent to the arena. If coming from LA, take Metrolink to avoid I-5 traffic.
OCVIBE construction is live around the arena, so the route and the available parking are both moving targets.
Parking is included with the event at every onsite lot, no separate pass to buy, which is rare.
A 4 by 6 by 1.5 inch bag is the ceiling and a clear bag gets no extra allowance.
