What to Expect
Busch Stadium sits in the heart of downtown St. Louis with the Gateway Arch rising beyond the outfield, one of the most iconic backdrops in baseball. The Cardinals are the most successful franchise in NL history (11 World Series titles), and their fans are routinely called the 'Best Fans in Baseball.' The pregame scene centers on Ballpark Village, a massive entertainment complex directly adjacent to the stadium with bars, restaurants, and a rooftop viewing deck. Cardinals fans are passionate, knowledgeable, and famously polite, they'll applaud a great play by the opposing team. Games run about 3 hours.

Take a walk around the whole stadium once you are inside. The view from directly behind home plate is incredible. The Budweiser Terrace in right field has a party vibe and $5 beers before game time.
Busch beer is really cheap on the top level in right field. Like $4-5 bucks. Possibly the cheapest beer in the stadium. Buy cheap tickets day of and get there early to walk the concourses for food.
I learned I enjoy center mezzanine where you can see everything rather than lower level. Buy the cheapest tickets and explore - Busch Stadium is a beautiful park no matter where you sit.
No barbecue in the lots — the parking terms rule out tailgating activities, so Ballpark Village is the pregame.
The Diamond Box is sections 140-145 and 155-160; the Infield Field Box is 141-144 and 156-160. The names overlap more than the maps suggest, so check the section number rather than the category.
The Terrace Level is where the Arch enters the picture, which is the shot everyone wants.
From I-70 East the exit is 249C, signed for the Convention Center, Broadway and Busch Stadium together.
Most published routes converge on Exit 40A toward Stadium/Tucker Blvd, then a right onto Clark Street.
Clark Street closes between the stadium and Ballpark Village, and after events 8th Street from Gratiot to Clark shuts for pedestrians.
Coming from I-64 East you need two exits in quick succession, 40B then 39C.
