Busch Stadium's menu is deeply St. Louis, just not in the ways the old guidebooks say: the Made in the Lou stand at Section 146 rotates real local restaurants through the season, Stuie's serves Kohn's kosher corned beef and pastrami, Mayo Ketchup brings arepas and Cubans, and the dessert to beat is the Fried Gooey Butter Cake at the Gashouse Grill. Budweiser, brewed in St. Louis since 1876, is the default beer, with Schlafly covering the craft side. The $5 Cardinals Value Menu — hot dog, soda, popcorn, nachos — runs at four stands every home game. Across Clark Street, Ballpark Village keeps the party going before and after.
Tips & Fan Reports
Busch beer is really cheap on the top level in right field. Like $4-5 bucks. Possibly the cheapest beer in the stadium. Buy cheap tickets day of and get there early to walk the concourses for food.
The Cardinals Value Menu is the best deal in the ballpark: hot dog, soda, popcorn or nachos for $5 each, all game long, at stands near Sections 132, 162, 233 and 446.
Schlafly IPA and Pale Ale are the local craft pours on the published menu; Budweiser is the hometown default and always will be.
The Fried Gooey Butter Cake at Gashouse Grill (Section 150) wraps the St. Louis dessert staple in warm funnel cake. Grab one in the later innings.
Made in the Lou near Section 146 rotates St. Louis restaurants through the season — check the lineup, it changes roughly monthly (Kbop, The Fattened Caf, Taste-D-Burger and more).
Pappy's Smokehouse is worth the pregame detour if you're a BBQ fan. Go early. They sell out of popular cuts.
Budweiser is brewed locally at the Anheuser-Busch brewery (free tours available). Drinking a Bud at Busch Stadium is a hometown tradition.

These figures are estimates. Most venues no longer publish the numbers behind them — concession and ticket pricing moved to dynamic marketplaces — so we hold them as estimates rather than dating them as verified.
