Getting to American Family Field

Every published driving route to American Family Field ends the same way — on I-94 to Brewers Boulevard — which makes it one of the simplest ballparks in the data to reach by car, and one of the most affected by a single roadworks project. The Brewers link the state's own I-94 East-West construction planner rather than pretending the routes are stable. On foot or by bike the answer is the Hank Aaron State Trail, which runs unbroken from the ballpark to the Lake Michigan lakefront.

- All routes converge on I-94 and exit at Brewers Boulevard. From Green Bay, I-43 south to the I-94 westbound ramp at the Madison exit. From Fond du Lac, 41/45 southbound to I-94 eastbound at the Milwaukee exit. From the lakefront, I-794 west onto I-94 westbound. From Chicago or General Mitchell Airport, I-94 north and west through the Marquette Interchange. From Beloit, I-43 north to I-894 northbound then I-94 eastbound. From Madison, I-94 eastbound. Check 511wi.gov and the state's 94 East-West planner before setting off — the corridor is under construction.
- Public Transit
- The Milwaukee County Transit System runs two routes within walking distance. The CONNECT BRT runs on Wisconsin Avenue with stops at Wisconsin and 44th Street, and Route 18 runs on National Avenue with stops at National and 43rd Street. Fares can be planned and paid with WisGo in the Umo app.
- Rideshare
- Uber/Lyft drop-off is on Yount Drive near the home plate entrance. Post-game pickup is on the east side of the stadium along Helfaer Drive. Expect 15-20 minutes from downtown. Surge pricing kicks in immediately after the final out.
- Walking
- The Hank Aaron State Trail runs continuously from the ballpark to the Lake Michigan lakefront, following the Menomonee River as far as the Sixth Street Bridge — an asphalt path usable on foot, by bike, running or skating.
