American Family Field sits in a suburban setting just off I-94, about 5 miles west of downtown Milwaukee. Driving and tailgating is the dominant culture, most fans drive in, park in the massive surrounding lots, and tailgate before the game. Public transit exists via the MCTS bus system and the free Brewers Line shuttle from select downtown bars. Rideshare works well for fans staying downtown. The stadium is easy to reach from I-94, I-41, and Highway 175, but expect traffic congestion starting 90 minutes before first pitch on weekend games.
