Getting to Wrigley Field

Wrigley Field is in the middle of a residential neighbourhood and the Cubs write for that: they pair every driving route with the transit alternative, name the Red Line station that lets out a block from the gates, and publish park-and-ride prices on two suburban lines. The Yellow Line even runs an hour later on game nights.

Get there a few hours early and walk around outside the park. Wrigleyville is beautiful and very safe with plenty of good restaurants, an outdoor venue with free live music, and shops. Murphy's Bleachers is the classic pregame spot.
Yellow Line trains run an hour later on game nights, until midnight from Howard.
Buses #152 Addison and #22 Clark both stop at Clark and Addison, right by the ballpark.
Park-and-ride at Dempster-Skokie is $4 and Howard $5 — both cheaper than anything near Wrigley.
Addison on the Red Line is one block from the gates and is an accessible station.
If Lake Shore Drive is backed up, Broadway or Clark are the club's suggested alternatives.

- Driving
- Wrigley Field is at 1060 W. Addison St in Lakeview on Chicago's north side. From the Loop or the north side, take Lake Shore Drive north to Irving Park Rd, head west to Clark and turn left, south — the ballpark is ahead on the left. If Lake Shore Drive is heavy, Broadway or Clark are the alternatives. The Cubs ask visitors to respect the neighbourhood and follow posted signage and staff directions.
- Public Transit
- The CTA Red Line runs direct to the accessible Addison station, one block east of the ballpark; board it downtown at Jackson/State, Monroe/State, Washington/State or Lake/State, or at Howard, where Purple and Yellow Line trains from the northern suburbs connect. CTA buses #152 Addison and #22 Clark both stop at Clark and Addison. Park-and-ride is $5 at Howard, with more than 550 spaces, and $4 at Dempster-Skokie, with more than 400, three blocks east of the Edens Expressway. On game nights Yellow Line trains run an hour later, until midnight, from Howard.
- Rideshare
- Uber/Lyft drop-off is on Clark Street near the main entrance or on Addison Street near the Red Line station. Post-game pickup is extremely congested. Walk 3-4 blocks away from the ballpark for faster service and lower surge pricing.
- Walking
- Addison station on the Red Line lets out one block east of the ballpark.
