- Bag policy
Permitted bags are clear single-compartment bags no larger than 12 x 12 x 6 inches, non-clear bags no larger than 9 x 5 x 2 inches, or one-gallon clear resealable bags.

Arrive and start tailgating
Pull into the general lots early and claim your spot. Fire up the grill, crack open a beer, and join the tailgate scene that makes Miller Park, sorry, American Family Field, famous.
Peak tailgate hours
The lots are in full swing. Brats, burgers, and beer everywhere. Neighbors share food and play cornhole. The smell of charcoal fills the parking lots.
Head inside
Walk through the main gates and explore the concourse. Check out the team store or grab a beer at one of the craft bars inside.
Watch batting practice
Head to the outfield sections for BP. The retractable roof may be open or closed. When open, the natural light transforms the ballpark.
Find your seat
Settle in and watch the pregame ceremonies. The video board runs lineups and highlights.
Play ball
Nine innings of Brewers baseball. The crowd is engaged from pitch one, Milwaukee fans know their baseball.
Famous Racing Sausages
The Bratwurst, Polish Sausage, Italian Sausage, Hot Dog, and Chorizo race around the warning track. Pick your sausage and cheer them on. It's a Milwaukee institution.
Tailgate round two
The parking lot tailgate continues after the final out. Finish the brats, rehash the game, and enjoy the most relaxed post-game exit in baseball.

The retractable roof means games are never rained out. If it's cold or rainy, the roof stays closed and it's comfortable inside.
Tailgating is the main event. Arrive at least 2 hours early with a grill, brats, and a cooler. The lots are massive and welcoming.
The sausage race (Racing Sausages) between innings is a beloved tradition. The crowd picks favorites.
American Family Field has one of the best tailgating scenes in ALL of sports - not just baseball. Arrive 3+ hours early.
