Know Before You Go
- Bag policy
All bags are searched; non-clear bags larger than 8 x 5 x 1 inches and backpacks are prohibited, while clear bags are permitted under Sutter Health Park's clear-bag policy.
Non-clear diaper bags are allowed after inspection. Guests pass through metal detectors and must empty open liquid containers before entering the security line.
- Bag storage
Rental lockers are in front of the Main Gate and Right Field Gate for guests who need to store personal belongings.
The published locker rental fee is $6.
- Gate opening
General gates open 90 minutes before game time, while Athletics season-ticket members may enter two hours before game time.
Published gate times are subject to change.
- Mobile tickets
Athletics mobile tickets can be managed through My A's Tickets or the MLB Ballpark app.
Tickets may also be purchased through the Ballpark app.
- Re-entry
The Athletics do not permit re-entry after a guest exits Sutter Health Park.
- Prohibited items
Sutter Health Park prohibits weapons, backpacks, oversized non-clear bags, hard-sided coolers, glass and cans, drones, fireworks, laser pointers, noisemakers, and other listed items.
Professional cameras with detachable lenses, laptops, selfie sticks, tripods, banners, signs, mace, and outside alcohol are also prohibited; review the complete official list before arrival.
- First aid
First Aid is on the concourse at Section 112.
Guests may go to the station or ask the nearest Guest Services representative for assistance.
- Family restrooms
Family restrooms are on the concourse at Sections 106 and 117 and on the Suite Level across from Suite 24.
All three are wheelchair accessible and have baby-changing stations; every other ballpark restroom also has a changing station.
- Tickets for children
Children 24 months and younger do not need a ticket when seated on an accompanying adult's lap; older children need a ticket.
- Guest services
The Guest Services Office is on the Concourse Level at Section 112 and is open from gate time until about 30 minutes after the event.
It handles guest assistance, lost and found, booster seats, assistive listening devices, taxi service, and lost children.
- Service animals
Dogs individually trained to perform disability-related work or tasks are permitted; comfort-only and emotional-support dogs do not qualify.
Staff may ask whether the animal is required because of a disability and what work or task it performs.
- Smoking and vaping
Smoking and vaping are prohibited throughout Sutter Health Park.

Explore Old Sacramento
Cross the Tower Bridge to Old Sacramento, the historic district along the river has restaurants, shops, and a boardwalk. A scenic pregame walk.
Walk across the Tower Bridge
The Tower Bridge connects downtown Sacramento to West Sacramento and the ballpark. The walk over the river is one of the best approaches to any MLB venue.
Enter and grab a seat
Sutter Health Park is small. You can walk the entire concourse in 10 minutes. The lawn seating beyond the outfield is first-come, first-served for the best spots.
Watch batting practice up close
The small venue means you're close to the field everywhere. Stand along the first- or third-base rail for BP, you'll be closer to the players than at any other MLB park.
Grab food and settle in
Concession lines are short compared to MLB stadiums. Grab a tri-tip sandwich and a local craft beer.
Play ball
Major League Baseball in a minor-league setting. Every seat feels close. The intimacy is unlike anything else in MLB.
Stretch and enjoy the sunset
Summer evenings along the Sacramento River are beautiful. The sun sets behind the outfield during evening games.
