What to Expect
Sutter Health Park is the temporary home of the Athletics, who left Oakland after the 2024 season while their new Las Vegas ballpark is under construction. The park was built as a minor-league venue (originally Raley Field) in West Sacramento along the Sacramento River. It's intimate, compact, and very different from a typical MLB stadium. Capacity is about 14,014, making it by far the smallest venue in Major League Baseball. The team plans to play here through 2027, with an option for 2028 if needed. The atmosphere is casual, prices are lower than almost any MLB park, and the Sacramento River setting gives it genuine charm.

Game Day
Season ticket members get in a half hour earlier, in time for the visitors' infield practice.
The Bridge District holds over 5,000 spaces, most of them set aside for ballpark events.
Only the Preferred Lots permit tailgating; a space in any other lot buys parking alone.
Parking & Directions
It is $30 to park at Sutter Health Park and worth it if you are going with kids or elderly fans. They refill souvenir soda cups for $3 after the initial purchase and you can bring them back to future games.
The club advises selecting a lot by the direction you will leave after the game.
Confirm opening and closing times on your booking: the club's parking page gives conflicting two-hour/90-minute and three-hour/two-hour windows.
Food & Drinks
The food at the park is pretty bad regardless of whether you are in a club or not. Eat before you go and grab a bag of peanuts to snack on inside. Also the park is card-only and beer is $18.
If you are not into premium sausage, the tri-tip cart is another awesome choice inside the park. It gets hot in Sacramento so bring sunscreen and stay hydrated. This is a temporary home so enjoy it while it lasts.
The tri-tip sandwich is the signature item, a Central California BBQ staple. Better than you'd expect from a minor-league-sized venue.
Seating
There is no re-entry. Once you leave the ballpark your ticket will not bring you back in.
Gates open 90 minutes before first pitch, two hours for season ticket members, who get the visiting team's infield practice.
There is one elevator in the whole ballpark, at Section 112, and it serves the Field Level and the suite level.
Know Before You Go
- Bag policy
All bags are searched; non-clear bags larger than 8 x 5 x 1 inches and backpacks are prohibited, while clear bags are permitted under Sutter Health Park's clear-bag policy.
Non-clear diaper bags are allowed after inspection. Guests pass through metal detectors and must empty open liquid containers before entering the security line.
- Gate opening
General gates open 90 minutes before game time, while Athletics season-ticket members may enter two hours before game time.
Published gate times are subject to change.
- Venue payments
Sutter Health Park is cashless and accepts major credit and debit cards for concessions and merchandise.
ATMs are not available inside the ballpark.
- Re-entry
The Athletics do not permit re-entry after a guest exits Sutter Health Park.
