Sutter Health Park's food options are scaled to its minor-league origins, simpler and more affordable than a typical MLB ballpark, but with Sacramento's farm-to-fork culture showing through in the quality. The tri-tip sandwich is the signature item, reflecting Central California BBQ tradition. Sacramento's booming brewery scene pours at the Beer Garden, and the concession stands lean local — River City hot chicken, California burritos, and Merlino's Freeze on the concourse. Prices are the lowest in MLB, a beer and a hot dog costs less here than a beer alone at Yankee Stadium.
Tips & Fan Reports
The food at the park is pretty bad regardless of whether you are in a club or not. Eat before you go and grab a bag of peanuts to snack on inside. Also the park is card-only and beer is $18.
If you are not into premium sausage, the tri-tip cart is another awesome choice inside the park. It gets hot in Sacramento so bring sunscreen and stay hydrated. This is a temporary home so enjoy it while it lasts.
The Beer Garden is the social hub, pouring local Sacramento beers; Merlino's Freeze, a Sacramento institution, runs a cart on the concourse.
Sacramento is America's Farm-to-Fork Capital, the food quality punches above the venue's weight class.
The tri-tip sandwich is the signature item, a Central California BBQ staple. Better than you'd expect from a minor-league-sized venue.
The food selection is smaller than a full MLB stadium. Don't expect 20 options. But what's there is solid.
Prices are the lowest in MLB. A hot dog, beer, and ticket can cost less than a single ticket at some parks.
Old Sacramento restaurants offer better sit-down meals. Eat there pregame and grab snacks at the ballpark.
