Tips & Fan Reports

What fans who park here actually do, and what it cost them.

Best way from Las Olas Beach area is to drive or Uber to the arena. There is no real public transit option. Budget about 20-25 minutes depending on I-595 traffic.

The $25 official lots are worth it for the convenience. Overflow lots save $10 with a short walk.

No tailgating setup is allowed in the lots, but the atmosphere in the fan zone before games is growing.

Rideshare from Fort Lauderdale Beach is $20-30 and saves the hassle of driving and parking.

Post-game traffic funnels onto NW 136th Avenue and Sawgrass Expressway. Budget 20 minutes to exit the area.

Parking is plentiful. This isn't a downtown arena with a parking crunch. Relax.

Coming down the Sawgrass via Oakland Park Boulevard puts you at Gate 3, half a mile along Panther Parkway.

From I-595 it is Exit 1 at 136th Ave, which becomes Panther Parkway.

Nothing on the arena's page covers buses, so plan a car-free trip from the transit operator's map.

Pat Salerno Drive off the Sawgrass Expressway runs directly into the arena at Gate 1 or 2 — the shortest approach published.

Getting There

Amerant Bank Arena is a suburban arena in Sunrise reached off the Sawgrass Expressway and I-595, and it is unusually precise about which gate each approach delivers you to — Pat Salerno Drive runs straight into Gates 1 and 2, Panther Parkway into Gate 3. There is no public transit guidance of any kind.

Driving
The arena is at 1 Panther Parkway. From I-95, take it north or south to I-595, continue west to Exit 1 at 136th Ave and go north; 136th Ave becomes Panther Parkway. From the Sawgrass Expressway, go south to Oakland Park Boulevard, turn left, right onto Flamingo Road and right onto Panther Parkway — the arena is half a mile down on the right, entered at Gate 3. From I-75, take the Palmetto Expressway or Florida Turnpike Extension north to I-75, then to the Sawgrass Expressway, exiting at Pat Salerno Drive which runs directly into the arena at Gate 1 or Gate 2.
Public Transit
The arena's directions page names no bus route and publishes no stop — public transit is not covered on it at all. Plan that leg from Broward County Transit's own map.
Rideshare
Uber/Lyft drop-off is near the main entrance off Panther Parkway. Post-game pickup is in a designated zone. Budget $20-30 from Fort Lauderdale Beach.

These figures are estimates. Most venues no longer publish the numbers behind them — concession and ticket pricing moved to dynamic marketplaces — so we hold them as estimates rather than dating them as verified.

  • Parking prices — Never checked against a single published rate: the venue's parking page, read 2026-09-05, prices A and D Lot general parking at the gate as a range, $40-$50 plus tax, and publishes no prepaid rate; the arena-lot figure is an estimate at the floor of that range and the Sawgrass Mills figure is unpriced by the venue. The 2026-07-27 figures were compiled from third-party listings (was: "Amerant Bank Arena 2026: A and D Lots $40 plus tax at the gate, $20-$30 prepaid; free Sawgrass Mills overflow with a 12-15 minute shuttle").
