What to Expect
The Caesars Superdome is an icon of American sports, a massive fixed-roof dome rising above downtown New Orleans since 1975. Home to the Saints and the Who Dat Nation, game days in New Orleans are unlike anything else in the NFL. The French Quarter is a 15-minute walk away. Bourbon Street overflows with black-and-gold jerseys hours before kickoff. Champions Square, the outdoor plaza adjacent to the Superdome, hosts live music, food vendors, and a pregame party atmosphere that blends football with New Orleans' legendary festival culture. Inside, the dome is climate-controlled year-round, making every game comfortable regardless of Louisiana's subtropical heat and humidity. The Who Dat chant shaking the dome after a Drew Brees-era tradition lives on, 73,000 fans creating one of the loudest environments in the NFL.

Tips & Fan Reports
If your focus is the actual game then sections 142 or 500 level. I had season tickets and sold them because I was under the overhang. You do NOT get the dome experience sitting under there.
Try the alligator hot dogs inside the Superdome - they're a New Orleans thing and actually really good. The renovation brought in some solid food vendors too.
Hit the Rouses Grocery a few blocks away and buy some canned local beers. You can bring one unopened beer into Champion Square. Grab food at the food trucks there and enjoy the live music.
If you're driving, park on the outskirts and walk in. There's a pregame concert in Champion Square an hour before gates open - don't miss it.
Champion Square has overpriced Bud Lights but some really good food trucks and a great local band. Open parking lots between Loyola, Poydras, O'Keefe, and Gravier are about $30 for game day.
If you want to park at the Superdome garages, you need a pass in advance. Way easier and cheaper than trying to find parking at the dome on game day.
The roof is fixed and the building is climate-controlled, so nothing here turns on the forecast.
Entertainment stops 45 minutes before kickoff, so the square empties well before the game rather than right at it.
The Superdome names its eight levels rather than numbering them: Ground, Plaza, Loge, Lower and Upper Suites, Lower and Upper Terrace, Press. A listing using a number is resale shorthand.
A plain Loge Level seat is not a Loge CLUB ticket. Only club tickets, suites, the Bunker Club and the Plaza Club open the two lounges.

How We Checked This Page
Every section below names the source it was read from and the day it was read. Where we could not reach a published figure, the page says so rather than presenting an estimate as a checked fact.

Not yet checked against a published source
These figures are estimates. Most venues no longer publish the numbers behind them — concession and ticket pricing moved to dynamic marketplaces — so we hold them as estimates rather than dating them as verified.
- Parking prices — Never checked against a published rate: the venue's parking page, read 2026-09-05, publishes none — the Saints' page names the garages and which sell first-come on game days, and the Superdome's directions page carries only an address; neither gives a figure. The 2026-07-27 figures were compiled from third-party listings (was: "Caesars Superdome 2026: Superdome garages $40-$60 covered; other structures within walking distance $20-$40").
