What to Expect
Mercedes-Benz Stadium rises at the edge of downtown Atlanta, its eight-paneled retractable roof opening like a camera aperture over one of the NFL's most architecturally stunning venues. Game days in Atlanta blend Southern hospitality with big-city energy, the Falcons' fan-first pricing philosophy means $2 hot dogs, $5 beers, and free refills on soft drinks, making this the most affordable stadium dining experience in the league. Centennial Olympic Park, the Georgia World Congress Center, CNN Center, and State Farm Arena surround the stadium, creating a walkable downtown entertainment district. MARTA rail drops you steps from the gates. The 360-degree halo video board, the largest in-stadium video screen in the NFL, hovers above the field, and when the retractable roof opens on a crisp November afternoon, there's nothing quite like it in professional football.

Tips & Fan Reports
Do NOT park near the stadium. Take MARTA - park at a rail station and ride in. They run every 20 minutes or less on game days. Vine City and CNN Center stations are closest.
Concessions at Mercedes-Benz are some of the cheapest in the NFL because Arthur Blank actually cares about the fan experience. Don't be afraid to eat inside.
The Gulch (Lot A) is the most popular parking and tailgate spot. If you are a tourist, the College Football Hall of Fame, Georgia Aquarium, and World of Coke are all close to the stadium.
The real party is in the Home Depot Backyard before the game. To have a grill and tables you unfortunately need a parking pass there but it is worth it.
Wild Leap Atlanta is a 15-minute walk from the stadium and a go-to pregame spot for fans. They have a food truck with great burgers and the vibe before any big event is always great.
Get there when the gates open so you can walk around the stadium, get food, and enjoy the vibe. You're paying too much money to arrive right before kickoff.
The MARTA Rapid A-Line BRT is the fallback; get off at South Downtown.
One tent per parking space, 10 by 10, and it comes down before you walk into the stadium — so plan who carries it back to the car.
The 200 concourse has retractable glass overhead doors onto the bowl, so you keep the sightline while you are off your seat.
The Sports Illustrated Lounge on the 300 level has its own private lift, which is unusual for an upper-level space.

Not yet checked against a published source
These figures are estimates. Most venues no longer publish the numbers behind them — concession and ticket pricing moved to dynamic marketplaces — so we hold them as estimates rather than dating them as verified.
- Parking prices — Never checked against a published rate: the venue's parking page, read 2026-09-05, publishes none — the page covers hangtags, mobile passes and a 4.5-hour opening, with no figure for any lot. The 2026-07-27 figures were compiled from third-party listings (was: "Mercedes-Benz Stadium 2026 regular season: outer surface lots from about $20 to $75+ for premium covered deck on high-demand dates").
