What to Expect

Bank of America Stadium sits in the heart of Uptown Charlotte, making it one of the most walkable stadium settings in the NFL. The Panthers game-day experience blends Southern hospitality with a genuine football atmosphere, the Keep Pounding drum, inspired by the late Sam Mills' iconic speech, echoes through the stadium before every game. Charlotte's booming food and craft beer scene has elevated the tailgate experience beyond traditional cookouts. The Lynx Blue Line drops fans right at the stadium's doorstep, and Uptown's restaurants, bars, and Romare Bearden Park are all within walking distance. This is an underrated game-day destination with big-city amenities at a mid-market price.

Tips & Fan Reports

The light rail stops right at the stadium and it is by far the easiest way to get there. Park at one of the light rail lots in South End and ride in. Super cheap and you skip all the traffic.

CLTlightrail

Dilworth Neighborhood Grill on McDowell and Morehead offers a free shuttle to and from games. Good food and drinks too - great option if you don't want to deal with parking.

DilworthNeighbor

Eat and catch a buzz in the parking lot before going in. It's way cheaper to pregame in the lot and then maintain it inside the stadium.

KeepPounding89

Park in South End and walk to the stadium. There are a ton of bars and restaurants in that neighborhood and it is one of the most walkable areas in Charlotte. Way better than fighting for stadium lots.

SouthEndParker

Graham Street Pub is a great pregame spot with a view of the Charlotte skyline. South End neighborhood is walkable to the stadium with plenty of food and drink options.

CLTLocal704

Get there early and walk around uptown Charlotte before the game. The stadium is right in the middle of the city so there is tons to do and see within walking distance. Not like some stadiums out in the suburbs.

If you can afford it, get 300-level seats. Food, drinks, and restrooms are way more accessible than the 500 section. Night and day difference in the experience.

Brooklyn Village Station is just over a football field from the gates.

These figures are estimates. Most venues no longer publish the numbers behind them — concession and ticket pricing moved to dynamic marketplaces — so we hold them as estimates rather than dating them as verified.

  • Parking prices — Never checked against a published rate: the venue's parking page, read 2026-09-05, publishes none — the page prices the CATS round trip at $4.40 and no lot at all. The 2026-07-27 figures were compiled from third-party listings (was: "Bank of America Stadium 2026: game day parking typically $30-$50 per vehicle by lot and proximity").
