The light rail stops right at the stadium and it is by far the easiest way to get there. Park at one of the light rail lots in South End and ride in. Super cheap and you skip all the traffic.
Dilworth Neighborhood Grill on McDowell and Morehead offers a free shuttle to and from games. Good food and drinks too - great option if you don't want to deal with parking.
Park in South End and walk to the stadium. There are a ton of bars and restaurants in that neighborhood and it is one of the most walkable areas in Charlotte. Way better than fighting for stadium lots.
The LYNX Blue Line trip to Brooklyn Village costs $4.40 round trip, including parking at a park-and-ride station.

That combination (a named station, a stated fare and free parking at the far end) is rare in this data.

- From I-85 southbound, exit at Billy Graham Parkway, Freedom Drive, the Brookshire Freeway (I-277 East) or I-77 South. From I-85 northbound, exit at Sugar Creek Road, Graham Street, Statesville Avenue or I-77 South. From I-77 southbound, exit at the John Belk Freeway (I-277) or Trade Street. From I-77 northbound, exit at the Brookshire Freeway, Fifth Street, Trade Street, Morehead Street or the John Belk Freeway. From Wilkinson Boulevard/US 74 west or Independence Boulevard/US 74 east, follow signs to the John Belk Freeway and exit at Carson Boulevard, College Street, South Boulevard, Brevard Street, Sixth Street, Fourth Street or Stonewall Street. From the airport, take Josh Birmingham Parkway 1.5 miles to Billy Graham Parkway South, then I-77 North to the John Belk Freeway or Trade Street.

Bank of America Stadium's own parking page names exactly one transit service: "Blue Line: Park at any Park and Ride station along the line, hop on the train and ride straight to the Brooklyn Village Station", at "Fare: $4.40 round trip. Park & Ride: Included in fare." CATS publishes the matching one-way at $2.20 (Local Bus and Rail, One-Way), and $4.40 is exactly twice it -- so the stored $2.20 is right as a one-way and the entry now names the station it buys. Two corrections follow from the same page. The description named Stonewall Station, which CATS has renamed Brooklyn Village. And the separate "CATS Game Day Bus Shuttle" at $5 is a service neither the venue nor CATS publishes: what the venue describes is Park & Ride, and its cost is the $4.40 rail fare, not a second $5 charge. Removing it leaves the Blue Line as the publishable car-free arrival.
