Know Before You Go
- Bag policy
Each guest may bring one clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bag no larger than 12 x 6 x 12 inches or one clear one-gallon resealable bag, plus a clutch no larger than 6.5 x 4.5 inches.
All bags are searched; diaper bags smaller than 11 x 11 x 15 inches are permitted after inspection, and guests with medical needs should contact Disability Services in advance.
- Bag storage
Mobile Locker Company provides paid storage for non-approved bags at Chase Field.
Guests access, pay for, and open a locker through the Mobile Locker Company smartphone app.
- Gate opening
Gates open 90 minutes before first pitch Sunday through Friday and two hours before first pitch on Saturdays.
Advantage Members receive 30-minute early entry at designated gates on Fridays and Saturdays; special gate times are subject to change.
- Mobile tickets
Tickets must be opened in the MLB Ballpark app or Ticketmaster app and presented on a mobile device for entry.
Screenshots and print-at-home tickets are not accepted; update the app, verify the account, and load tickets before arriving.
- Re-entry
Guests may leave and re-enter through Gates A, F, J, and K by showing their ticket and being scanned out before exiting.
The ticket must be shown and scanned again when returning.
- Prohibited items
Chase Field prohibits alcohol, aerosol cans, illegal drugs, weapons, fireworks, drones, tripods, noisemakers, umbrellas, laser pointers, backpacks, and other listed items.
Skateboards, scooters, inflatables, fishing nets, bicycles, and unauthorized flags or obstructive banners are also prohibited; review the full official list before arrival.
- First aid
First Aid stations are on the Main Concourse near Section 104 and the Upper Concourse north of Section 300.
Emergency medical personnel are on duty at every game; notify the nearest uniformed employee for assistance.
- Nursing and lactation
Private nursing accommodations are available at the Suite Office on the Suite Level across from Suite 42.
- Family restrooms
Inclusive and family restrooms are near Sections 109, 135, 306, and 331, near Suite 55, and on the Field Level near RFW and GHW.
All public restrooms also provide diaper-changing tables.
- Tickets for children
Children age 3 and older need a ticket; a child entering without a ticket must share a seat with an accompanying adult.
The policy may vary for non-baseball events, so confirm with Chase Field for another event type.
- Guest services
Guest Relations Centers are on the Main Concourse at Section 128 and the Upper Concourse at Section 322.
For discreet in-game help, text 'Dbacks', the location, and the issue to 623-304-0777.
- Service animals
Service dogs and service dogs in training are welcome when task-trained, housebroken, controlled, and harnessed, leashed, or tethered unless that would interfere with their work.
The grassy area outside Gate K is the designated relief area; animals used only for comfort, therapy, or emotional support are not admitted.
- Smoking and vaping
Smoking, electronic cigarettes, cigars, and traditional cigarettes are prohibited in seating areas, concourses, suites, and restrooms.
Designated smoking areas are outside Gates A, F, J, and K; a digital ticket is required to re-enter.

Arrive downtown
Take the light rail or drive. Roosevelt Row bars and restaurants fill with fans.
Pregame downtown
Grab a drink at a downtown bar or walk the Chase Field area. Team Shop opens early.
Enter Chase Field
Walk into A/C comfort. The temperature difference from the lot to the concourse is dramatic in summer.
Explore and grab food
The Sonoran hot dog and Churro Dog are Chase Field signatures.
Find your seat
Settle in and check whether the roof is open or closed. It changes the whole atmosphere.
Play ball
Nine innings in climate-controlled comfort. The A/C is the real MVP May-September.
Stand up and stretch
Grab a Four Peaks Kilt Lifter from the concourse.
Downtown nightlife
Walk to Roosevelt Row for post-game drinks. Summer evenings are warm but patios come alive.
Tips & Fan Reports
Valley Metro Light Rail to 3rd St/Jefferson is two blocks away.
The pool beyond right-center field can be rented for groups. It's one of the most unique features in any ballpark.
The retractable roof stays closed May-September, interior is climate-controlled at ~78°F regardless of 110°F outside.
Chase Field's retractable roof and air conditioning make it the only comfortable way to watch baseball in 115°F Phoenix summer.
Chase Field is one of the most affordable MLB experiences. Tickets, food, and parking are all below league average.
When the roof opens on spring/fall evenings, the desert sky is beautiful.
Book parking ahead through the club rather than arriving to look for a space downtown.
The museum entrance is the 20-year member route, not a general one.
Saturday gates open a half hour earlier than the rest of the week: two hours rather than 90 minutes.
Advantage Members should head for Gate B or J on a Friday or Saturday for the extra half hour.
Before the Game
Chase Field runs two gate clocks and an early-entry tier on top of them. Gates open 90 minutes before first pitch Sunday through Friday and two hours before on Saturdays. Advantage Members get in 30 minutes ahead of the main gates on Fridays and Saturdays at Gates B and J, and members of 20 years or more enter through the History and Championship Museum entrance. The club sells parking in advance through its own site rather than leaving it to the day.
