Know Before You Go
- Bag policy
Coors Field permits soft-sided, single-pocket bags and containers up to 16 x 16 x 8 inches.
Backpacks, multi-pocket bags, and multi-pocket purses are prohibited, and every permitted bag is inspected.
- Bag storage
Oversized bags and hard-sided coolers or containers may be claim-checked after inspection at the tent outside Gate E on the Wynkoop Walkway.
Select other prohibited items may be claim-checked at the five entry gates, and guests assume liability for stored items.
- Gate opening
Gates A and E open two hours before first pitch, while Gates B, C, and D open 90 minutes before first pitch.
Before the remaining gates open, guests entering at A or E must remain in the outfield Pavilion and Rooftop areas; rescheduled games may use different times.
- Mobile tickets
Coors Field entry requires a mobile barcode from the MLB Ballpark app or a ticket added to Apple Wallet or Google Pay.
Print-at-home tickets are not accepted, and guests unable to access a ticket or use a charged device should visit a Ticket Office window.
- Re-entry
Guests may not leave Coors Field during a game and return.
- Prohibited items
Coors Field prohibits firearms, other weapons, knives, fireworks, drones, glass bottles, metal cans, hard-sided coolers, outside alcohol, and noncompliant bags.
Lasers, noisemakers, selfie sticks, camera supports, hoverboards, wheeled footwear, stools, folding chairs, sticks, clubs, and other listed items are also prohibited; review the official list before arrival.
- First aid
First Aid is behind Sections 133 and 330.
The Section 133 station opens two hours before every game; the Section 330 station operates during select games.
- Nursing and lactation
UCHealth Nursing Suites are behind Sections 114 and 347 and provide quiet space to breastfeed or pump.
Guests may also request a private area at any First Aid location.
- Family restrooms
Family and all-gender restrooms are near Sections 124, 135, 149, 222, 311, and 339 and outside Suites 15 and 31.
Most Coors Field restrooms are accessible and include diaper-changing stations.
- Tickets for children
Children age two and younger do not need a ticket when seated on an adult's lap.
A child needs a valid ticket beginning on their third birthday.
- Guest services
The Guest Experience Center is on the Main Concourse behind Section 127 and operates from gate opening until 15 minutes after the game.
For a safety concern, notify a representative, text SECURITY to 97475, or call 1-877-ROXFANS.
- Service animals
Trained service dogs and miniature horses that perform a specific task for a guest with a disability are permitted at Coors Field.
- Smoking and vaping
Smoking, e-cigarettes, and vaporizers are permitted only in Coors Field's designated areas marked by yellow lines.
Designated areas include locations near Section 135, behind Sections 214-216 and 247, on the Suite Level, behind Sections 316 and 347, near the Clocktower, and at the Rockpile. Marijuana use is prohibited everywhere, including designated smoking areas.

Arrive in LoDo
Walk from Union Station or the 16th Street Mall into the Ballpark District. The bars on Blake Street and the Dairy Block alley are filling with fans.
Pregame in LoDo
ViewHouse, Jackson's, and the Dairy Block bars are the pregame standards. Denver's 300+ days of sunshine make outdoor patios the pregame destination.
Enter Coors Field
Walk through the gates and look west, the Rocky Mountain front range stretches across the horizon beyond the outfield.
Explore and grab food
Biker Jim's gourmet sausages, green chile cheeseburgers, and Rocky Mountain oysters are the signatures. The Rooftop in right field has a social bar scene.
Find your seat
Settle in and enjoy the mountain views. The pre-sunset light on the Rockies is stunning.
Play ball
Nine innings at a mile high. The thin air means more offense. Expect lots of hits, extra-base hits, and home runs.
Stand up and stretch
The crowd sings along under the big Colorado sky. Grab a final New Belgium or Odell from the concourse.
LoDo after dark
Blake Street and the LoDo bars stay packed after the game. Denver nightlife is casual, friendly, and walkable.
Tips & Fan Reports
Denver gets 300+ days of sunshine, sunscreen is essential. The sun is intense at altitude and you'll burn faster than at sea level.
LoDo (Lower Downtown) surrounding Coors Field has Denver's best concentration of breweries and restaurants.
The Rockpile (Section 401) is one of the cheapest tickets in all of sports - as low as $6-7. First-come, first-served.
At 5,280 feet, the thin air means more offense, less breaking-ball movement, and longer fly balls. Expect a high-scoring game.

The Rockpile ($6) is the cheapest seat in MLB, general admission in center field at a mile above sea level.
No drinking in the lots, which is the rule that pushes the Coors Field pregame into LoDo.
Lots A and B run a shuttle to Gate A, so the far end of 4,300 spaces is not a long walk.
A large group can book the Coors Outfield Picnic Area beside Gate A rather than trying to gather in a lot.
Gates A and E open a half hour before the rest if you want to watch batting practice.
Before the Game
Coors Field sits at 20th and Blake in Denver's lower downtown, in the neighbourhood the ballpark gave its name to, and the pregame is LoDo rather than the lots: alcohol consumption is prohibited in the parking lots outright. The club's own official parking is Lots A and B, more than 4,300 spaces between them including accessible and bus parking, opening two and a half hours before first pitch with a shuttle running to Gate A. Gates split: A, the Rockpile entrance, and E open two hours before for batting practice, while B, C and D open 90 minutes before. Groups from 50 to 2,000 can book the Coors Outfield Picnic Area next to Gate A.
