What to Expect
Truist Park opened in 2017 in the Cumberland/Galleria area of Cobb County, northwest of downtown Atlanta. The real game-changer is The Battery Atlanta, a massive mixed-use development surrounding the ballpark with restaurants, bars, a hotel, retail, and a live music venue. The Battery has transformed the Braves game-day experience from a simple baseball trip into an all-day destination. The 2021 World Series champions have a passionate fan base that fills The Battery hours before first pitch. The park itself is modern, comfortable, and designed with great sightlines throughout.

Visit the Battery before the game. Sometimes they have live shows right outside the stadium. The Memorial Garden is great for Braves history and memorabilia if you are a fan of the team.
Try to make it a day game if it is someone's first major league game and get there when gates open to explore the park. There are tons of restaurants and bars within a 0.5 mile walk of Truist Park.
The bag policy is strict but small non-clear crossbody bags usually get through. When in doubt check the Truist Park website before you go. Plus-size attendees will find the seats comfortable - they are wider than most ballparks.
No personal restrooms or trash receptacles, which rules out the larger group setups.
Delta SKY360 Club seats are sections 22-30 and 122-130, directly behind the plate.
Truist Park is open-air. For a day game, the third-base side and the upper rows of the Terrace Level get shade first.
Both CobbLinc circulators are free and run to 2am — later than the ballpark needs.
Check the parking map before assuming. Tailgating is approved lot by lot here, not across the site.
Weeknight lots open at 4:00 p.m. regardless of first pitch, so an early arrival is capped by the clock rather than the schedule.
The Hank Aaron Terrace and the Chop House Deck are group hospitality spaces rather than single seats — check the minimum before planning around them.
