Know Before You Go
- Bag policy
Bags are prohibited for the 2026 season, except small single-compartment clutches or clear bags no larger than 5 x 9 inches and specified medical, nursing, diaper, and ADA bags.
Permitted small clutches are subject to inspection at entry.
- Bag storage
A first-come, first-served mobile locker stores oversized bags at the Smart Locker location between the Orange and Truist Tower parking decks.
The locker opens two hours before first pitch and closes one hour after the last out; baseball-game pricing begins at $12 per bag.
- Gate opening
Gates normally open two hours before first pitch.
For weekday day games, all gates open 80 minutes before first pitch; giveaway dates may open earlier depending on crowd size, and all times are subject to change.
- Mobile tickets
A mobile ticket barcode must be displayed on a mobile device and scanned for entry through the MLB Ballpark app.
Print-at-home tickets are not accepted; load tickets before arrival or add them to Apple Wallet in case connectivity is limited.
- Re-entry
Guests generally may not leave Truist Park and return on the same ticket.
For an emergency, obtain approval from a Guest Services or Security Supervisor before exiting; any approved re-entry requires another security inspection.
- Prohibited items
Truist Park prohibits outside alcohol, illegal drugs, cans, glass bottles, baseball bats, oversized bags, coolers, weapons, fireworks, noisemakers, laser pointers, drones, and other listed items.
Metal bottles and other hard-sided containers are prohibited, but empty reusable non-glass water bottles up to 24 ounces are allowed; review the full official list before arrival.
- First aid
First Aid stations staffed by medical personnel are near Sections 111, 241, and 314.
Notify the nearest Braves staff member or go to a station when medical assistance is needed.
- Nursing and lactation
The staffed Northside Hospital Nursing Lounge is on the Lower Level near Left Field Gate at Section 141.
The air-conditioned room has comfortable rocking chairs and a diaper-changing station.
- Family restrooms
Family restrooms are near Sections 112, 120, 130, 140, 148, 152, 216, 241, 312, 323, 329, and 346.
Adult-size changing tables are available in family restrooms near Section 128 and Coca-Cola Corner.
- Tickets for children
Children age 2 and younger may attend without a ticket when seated on an accompanying adult's lap.
Children age 3 and older need a ticket.
- Guest services
Guest Services booths are near Sections 120 and 314, with the Section 120 booth staffed before, during, and after the game.
For in-ballpark assistance, text 'Braves issue and location' to 69050.
- Service animals
Trained service dogs and, in some cases, miniature horses recognized by federal law are welcome when leashed and controlled by their handler.
For an animal relief trip after entry, ask a Truist Park greeter or security team member to assist with the exit and re-entry process at any gate.
- Smoking and vaping
Truist Park is tobacco-free, with tobacco use prohibited in the seating bowl, concourses, Plaza, restrooms, and all premium seating areas.

Arrive at The Battery
The Battery Atlanta starts buzzing early. Restaurants, bars, and shops line the pedestrian streets surrounding the ballpark.
Pregame at The Battery bars
Sports & Social, Terrapin Taproom, and Antico Pizza fill with fans. The outdoor TVs broadcast pregame shows. This is the best pregame district in MLB.
Enter Truist Park
Walk from The Battery directly into the ballpark. The transition is seamless, The Battery bleeds into the stadium concourse.
Watch batting practice
Head to the outfield sections for BP. The park has great sightlines from every angle.
Grab food and find your seat
The fried chicken sandwich and pimento cheese burger are the regional favorites. Lines are shorter during BP.
Play ball
Nine innings in one of the newest and best-designed ballparks in MLB. The Braves' Tomahawk Chop is controversial but undeniably loud.
Stretch and chop
The Tomahawk Chop fills the stadium. Grab a final round, peach cobbler is the signature dessert.
Stay at The Battery
Walk straight from the ballpark into The Battery bars and restaurants. Live music at the amphitheater on weekend nights. No need to rush to your car.
Tips & Fan Reports
Visit the Battery before the game. Sometimes they have live shows right outside the stadium. The Memorial Garden is great for Braves history and memorabilia if you are a fan of the team.
Try to make it a day game if it is someone's first major league game and get there when gates open to explore the park. There are tons of restaurants and bars within a 0.5 mile walk of Truist Park.
There's NO MARTA rail to Truist Park (it's in Cobb County). You need a car, Uber, or the limited CobbLinc bus.
The Tomahawk Chop is a tradition, love it or not, 40,000 fans doing it simultaneously is an experience.
The Battery's open-air layout means you can see into the ballpark from several bars and restaurants.
The Battery is the best pregame district in MLB. Arrive 2-3 hours early and make it a full evening.
Truist Park is in suburban Cobb County, not downtown Atlanta. It's off I-75/I-285, not near MARTA rail.

Before the Game
Truist Park's position on tailgating is split, and the split is the useful part: the parking code of conduct asks fans not to tailgate, loiter, throw frisbees or do anything else that interferes with people arriving, while the club's own parking map marks specific lots as approved for tailgating. So it is permitted where the map says and discouraged everywhere else, rather than being a blanket yes or no. Personal restrooms and trash receptacles may not be set up in the lots at all. Opening times run by day: 4:00 p.m. for weeknight games, four hours before first pitch on Saturday and Sunday, and 9:30 a.m. for a Sunday 1:30 start.
