- Bag policy
Bags are prohibited for the 2026 season, except small single-compartment clutches or clear bags no larger than 5 x 9 inches and specified medical, nursing, diaper, and ADA bags.

Arrive at The Battery
The Battery Atlanta starts buzzing early. Restaurants, bars, and shops line the pedestrian streets surrounding the ballpark.
Pregame at The Battery bars
Sports & Social, Terrapin Taproom, and Antico Pizza fill with fans. The outdoor TVs broadcast pregame shows. This is the best pregame district in MLB.
Enter Truist Park
Walk from The Battery directly into the ballpark. The transition is seamless, The Battery bleeds into the stadium concourse.
Watch batting practice
Head to the outfield sections for BP. The park has great sightlines from every angle.
Grab food and find your seat
The fried chicken sandwich and pimento cheese burger are the regional favorites. Lines are shorter during BP.
Play ball
Nine innings in one of the newest and best-designed ballparks in MLB. The Braves' Tomahawk Chop is controversial but undeniably loud.
Stretch and chop
The Tomahawk Chop fills the stadium. Grab a final round, peach cobbler is the signature dessert.
Stay at The Battery
Walk straight from the ballpark into The Battery bars and restaurants. Live music at the amphitheater on weekend nights. No need to rush to your car.
Tips & Fan Reports
Visit the Battery before the game. Sometimes they have live shows right outside the stadium. The Memorial Garden is great for Braves history and memorabilia if you are a fan of the team.
Try to make it a day game if it is someone's first major league game and get there when gates open to explore the park. There are tons of restaurants and bars within a 0.5 mile walk of Truist Park.
There's NO MARTA rail to Truist Park (it's in Cobb County). You need a car, Uber, or the limited CobbLinc bus.
The Tomahawk Chop is a tradition, love it or not, 40,000 fans doing it simultaneously is an experience.
The Battery's open-air layout means you can see into the ballpark from several bars and restaurants.
The Battery is the best pregame district in MLB. Arrive 2-3 hours early and make it a full evening.
Truist Park is in suburban Cobb County, not downtown Atlanta. It's off I-75/I-285, not near MARTA rail.
