Parking payment rules vary by facility: nearby lots accept combinations of prepaid passes, credit cards, and, at several locations, cash.
The Lightning parking guide lists the exact tender for each garage and lot; Pam Iorio Garage is prepaid only, while Whiting Garage, Port Garage, and Florida Aquarium Lot list cash as an option.

Your Pass
- Most listed facilities accept payment on arrival and are first come, first served; the venue recommends advance booking through official partner JustPark.
- From the north or west, the closest listed option is Teal Lot, about a three-minute walk.
- From the south, Pam Iorio Garage is about a three-minute walk; from the east, Channelside Garage is about seven minutes away.
- Fort Brooke and Channelside garages connect to the arena area by the free TECO Streetcar.
- Garrison Street Lot is restricted to suite holders.
Not Allowed In
- Whiting Garage has a 6-foot-8-inch clearance.
- Motorcycles are not allowed in Whiting Garage.
Accessible Parking
The city-operated Pam Iorio Garage is the closest recommended accessible option, with elevators throughout and an arena-side loading circle.
- All surrounding lots offer accessible spaces, but Pam Iorio Garage is the most convenient option.
- Use the Florida Avenue entrance to Pam Iorio Garage.
- Accessible drop-off is in the Channelside Drive circle next to the Accessible Entrance.
- All accessible parking is first come, first served, and free wheelchair assistance is available from the drop-off area.
Getting There
The Lightning's arena publishes its parking by arrival direction and gives a walking distance and time for every lot: from a 0.1 mile, three-minute walk at the Teal Lot and Pam Iorio Garage out to 0.4 miles and nine minutes from the Florida Aquarium Lot. Two of the garages connect by the TECO Streetcar, which is free.
- Driving
- The arena is at 401 Channelside Drive. It publishes no interstate route or exit, organising parking by the direction you arrive from (north and west, west, south, east) with several garages and lots under each, and pointing drivers to Waze for the route itself.
- Public Transit
- The TECO Streetcar runs free to the arena, and both the Fort Brooke Garage and the Channelside Parking Garage are served by it. The arena names no streetcar stop and no bus route, so check the operator for that leg.
- Rideshare
- Before the event, rideshare drop-off is the drop-off circle just east of the intersection of Morgan St. and Channelside Dr. After the event, pickup is at Jefferson St. and Eunice St., Nebraska Ave. and Eunice St., Nebraska Ave. and Cumberland Ave., or Water St. and Cumberland Ave., each marked with a Rider Pick Up sign the city places before the event ends.
- Walking
- Walking distances are published per lot: 0.1 mile, about three minutes, from the Teal Lot and the Pam Iorio Garage, out to 0.4 miles and about nine minutes from the Florida Aquarium Lot.

The Pirate Water Taxi sells no single ride at all -- its published products are an "All-Day Pass" at $34 adult and a $199.95 annual membership -- so the stored $10 was not one of its fares.
