What to Expect
Scotiabank Arena sits in the heart of downtown Toronto, directly above Union Station at the foot of the CN Tower. It's the most expensive NHL arena experience, but also one of the most iconic. The Maple Leafs are the most valuable franchise in hockey, and game nights in Toronto carry a gravity that few arenas can match. The PATH underground system connects the arena to Union Station, hotels, and the entire downtown core without going outside, essential during Toronto winters. Every Leafs game sells out. The 300-level is where the real fans live, corporate seats dominate the lower bowl.

Game Day
The bag limit is 16.5 by 11.5 centimetres, and anything larger costs C$25 to check in the galleria opposite Gate 1.
Park under Maple Leaf Square if the weather is bad. It connects indoors to the retail concourse and the arena without going outside.
The gate printed on your ticket is a suggestion, not a requirement. The arena tells you to join the shortest line at any gate.
Parking & Directions
Don't park at the arena. Take transit. The arena is connected to Union Station and the PATH underground system. You can not even buy a 50/50 ticket with cash anymore - everything is digital.
The PATH connects the arena's Galleria with GO, Union Station and TTC Union Station.
The arena advertises nearby SpotHero spaces at up to 50% below drive-up rates.
Food & Drinks
Everything at Scotiabank Arena is expensive. A beer is $16-18 CAD. Budget accordingly.
Peameal bacon sandwich is Toronto's signature food, cornmeal-crusted back bacon on a bun. Try the arena version or the original at St. Lawrence Market.
Ontario craft breweries (Bellwoods, Blood Brothers, Left Field) are on tap. The local beer scene is excellent.
Seating
Sit on the side where the Leafs shoot twice and you can see the puck go in if they score. The rowdier people tend to be on that side too which adds to the atmosphere.
The Scotiabank Premium Entrance lifts reach the parking levels, the event level, both concourses and the arena restaurants (ScotiaClub, Hot Stove Club, Platinum Club and the Air Canada Signature Club).
Escalators link Level 100 to 200 and 200 to 300 on either side of Gate 1 and at Gates 5 and 5B, worth knowing before picking an entrance.
General
Leafs tickets are some of the most expensive in the NHL so use the virtual seat viewer online before buying. Midbowl corner seats vs midcourt upper bowl - both have good sight lines everywhere.
Know Before You Go
- Bag policy
Only small purses, clutches, and fanny packs smaller than 6.5 x 4.5 inches are permitted.
A medically or otherwise necessary larger bag may be admitted after X-ray inspection at Gates 1, 3, or 5.
- Gate opening
General gates open one hour before puck drop for Maple Leafs games.
The Premium Entrance opens two hours before puck drop for suite and restaurant access.
- Venue payments
Scotiabank Arena is fully cash-free and accepts debit cards, credit cards, and major contactless payment methods.
Mastercard is the venue's preferred payment method.
- Re-entry
No re-entry is permitted after a guest exits the arena gates.
