Tailgating is permitted in the pre-sold lots surrounding Acrisure Stadium, and the stadium hands the rulebook to its operator: the policy that governs a North Shore tailgate is Alco Parking's, not the venue's. The lots open at 8 a.m. on game day regardless of kickoff, which makes this one of the longest tailgate windows in the league. The one flat prohibition is the Champions Garage, where no tailgating is allowed at all. Which bridge you cross decides which lot you can reach, so the route matters more here than at most stadiums.

There's tailgating in the far lot past the soccer stadium. Come extra early and you can also take the Duquesne Incline to Mount Washington for incredible views of the city before the game.

Lots open at 8 a.m. on game day whatever time kickoff is, so a 1pm game gives you five hours in the lot if you want them.
Pick your bridge to match your lot: the West End Bridge and Reedsdale Street eastbound for Gold 1, Red 5 and Red 7, North Shore Drive for Gold 2, 3, 4 and 6.
Champions Garage is the one place with a flat no — covered parking, no setup.

Reached over the West End Bridge and along Reedsdale Street eastbound. Pre-sold lots that open at 8 a.m. on game day, and the group the stadium routes across the West End Bridge rather than through downtown.

The other pre-sold cluster, approached along North Shore Drive. Same 8 a.m. opening, different road in — and taking the wrong approach means circling the North Shore in game traffic.

The newer parking structure at the stadium. No tailgating is allowed inside it at all, so a space here is somewhere to leave the car and walk.

- No tailgating is allowed inside the Champions Garage.
- Reserved, pre-sold parking lots open at 8 a.m. to game day parkers.
- Access to pre-sold Gold Lot 1, Red 5 Garage and Red 7 Lots is via the West End Bridge and Reedsdale Street eastbound; Gold Lots 2, 3, 4 and 6 are reached via North Shore Drive.
- Fan conduct rules — covering unruly or illegal behaviour, intoxication, abusive language and obscene gestures — apply in the parking lots as well as inside the stadium.

Acrisure Stadium permits clear bags up to 12 x 6 x 12 inches, one-gallon clear freezer bags, and non-clear bags up to 4.5 x 6.5 inches.
- Only the outside food and drink the rule allows
Food may enter in a clear plastic bag, and factory-sealed plastic water or soft-drink bottles up to 24 ounces are permitted.
- A card or a phone wallet
Acrisure Stadium is cashless and accepts major cards plus Apple Pay and Google Pay.
- Your tickets on a charged phone
Steelers tickets are mobile and should be opened in the Steelers app and saved to a mobile wallet before arrival.
