Acrisure Stadium's food scene is anchored by Pittsburgh's iconic Primanti Brothers sandwich, thick Italian bread stacked with meat, provolone, coleslaw, tomato, and fries right on the sandwich. Pierogies and kielbasa reflect the city's strong Eastern European heritage. Iron City Beer is Pittsburgh's hometown brew, and Heinz ketchup (the stadium's former naming partner) is practically a condiment religion. The concourse features Primanti Brothers stands, local vendors, and craft beer options. The North Shore and downtown offer excellent pre-game dining within walking distance.
Tips & Fan Reports
Southern Tier and Shorty's on the North Shore are both great bars to pregame - they're right by the stadium. For dinner the night before, try Tako downtown or Fig & Ash on the North Side.
For the best pre-game meal, walk to the Strip District (20 min from stadium) or try the North Shore restaurants.
Heinz ketchup is everywhere, the stadium was formerly Heinz Field and the ketchup tradition lives on.
Iron City Beer is brewed in Pittsburgh and is the blue-collar beer of Steelers Nation. Yuengling is the popular alternative.
The Primanti Brothers sandwich is a Pittsburgh rite of passage, coleslaw and fries are ON the sandwich, not beside it.
