You can pay cash for most parking spots near the stadium with no issue. Just drive past the soccer stadium to the far lot - season ticket holders have been doing it for years.
Station Square park-and-ride with the free T Light Rail is the smartest budget option. Avoid all traffic.
Handicap accessible parking is available in all official lots with proper placard.
Post-game: walk to a North Shore or downtown restaurant and let the worst traffic clear. Pittsburgh has great dining.

If you're staying downtown, skip driving entirely. Walk across a bridge. It takes 10-15 minutes and is the best way to arrive.
