What to Expect
Lumen Field sits in Seattle's SoDo district, just south of Pioneer Square, one of the loudest, most intimidating stadiums in the NFL. The 12th Man tradition is legendary: Seahawks fans have twice registered on seismographs during games, and the noise level has been measured at over 137 decibels. The open-air stadium's steep, enclosed design amplifies crowd noise into a weapon that opposing offenses dread. Seattle's rain-or-shine fans pack the stadium in action green and college navy, creating an atmosphere that's uniquely Pacific Northwest, passionate, loud, and unapologetically committed to the 12th Man identity. Pioneer Square's historic bars, Pike Place Market, and the surrounding SoDo brewery district provide a world-class pregame experience.

Tips & Fan Reports
Take the ferry if you can - you avoid Seattle traffic and parking entirely, and it gives you a chance to sober up after the game before heading home.
Park at 4th and Lander and take the light rail from the SoDo station. Get off at Stadium or International District station - ID is my preference for getting to Lumen.
300 section, aim for midfield and try not to be too far up. The Charter seats just under the awning on the Seahawks side near the 50 are my favorite. Not too far, not too close.
Ivar's inside the stadium has great fish and chips and garlic fries. Also check out State Fair Burgers depending on where you're sitting.
Tailgating is not permitted on Lumen Field property itself. Look for private lots along 1st Ave south of Lumen Field, about a 10-minute walk. Or hit a nearby bar that does a pregame special.
Lumen Field is cashless. Uwajimaya has good Asian food nearby, and Pike Place Market is about a 20-minute walk if you want to explore before the game.
There really is no bad seat in Lumen. I have sat all over and the sight lines are great everywhere. I am not a fan of end zone though since you end up watching the jumbotron for plays on the other side.
The ferry from Bainbridge or Bremerton lands at Colman Dock, less than a mile away.
The upper deck is called the Summit Level now — older listings and maps say Upper Level and mean the same seats.
The First Hill streetcar stops at S Jackson and Occidental, about a third of a mile from the stadium.

How We Checked This Page
Every section below names the source it was read from and the day it was read. Where we could not reach a published figure, the page says so rather than presenting an estimate as a checked fact.

Current Lumen Field stadium and accessibility guides plus Seattle Seahawks ticketing and gameday policies reviewed for all structured venue-policy topics.
Not yet checked against a published source
These figures are estimates. Most venues no longer publish the numbers behind them — concession and ticket pricing moved to dynamic marketplaces — so we hold them as estimates rather than dating them as verified.
- Parking prices — Never checked against a published rate: the venue's parking page, read 2026-09-05, publishes none — the page sends readers to the event calendar for pricing and gives no figure of its own. The 2026-07-27 figures were compiled from third-party listings (was: "Lumen Field 2026: lots $30-$75, event-dependent, prepaid available").
