Lumen Field seats 68,740 fans in a steep, enclosed bowl design that amplifies crowd noise to legendary levels. The 12th Man's home is the loudest open-air stadium in the NFL, the design was intentional, with overhanging upper decks and a partially enclosed north end that trap and redirect sound onto the field. The south end is open with views of the Seattle skyline. The steep rake means even upper-level seats feel closer to the action than comparable seats in other stadiums. Visiting teams dread the noise, and opposing quarterbacks routinely struggle with audibles.
